Hi Lou, thanks for keeping your promise to show more of Chuck’s collection. Much appreciated ! I love the 695 SS which is in superb order and, I imagine, a real hoot to drive. I’ve never seen this model of the Autobianchi before. There can only be a handful of these left in existence. Great video, Lou. You’ve outdone yourself with this one ! Pass on my thanks to Chuck for sharing these rarities with your viewers.
Hi Andrew Graham, Glad you enjoy these two, and appreciate the "high praise" regarding the "outdone yourself :-) Thank you for viewing and sharing, as it's a treat to read your comments, Lou
The Bianchina as a Coupe or even full Cabriolet is quite seldom now because produced between only 1958 to 1961/62. But there was also a little Station Wagon Version that was produced until 1968/69 in Italy. And there are still some around. But the open versions are at about 18k euros now.
These cars make-a-me ssssmile! They remind me of two mischievous siblings, plotting their next caper. Very cool cars. Thanks for bringing them to us, Lou!
Hi friend, Thanks a lot for sharing this, I full appreciate the video, a perfect walkthrough in every single detail, excellent shooting. This 695 ss abarth is absolutely gorgeous, here in Italy there are many fiat 500 and lots of fake/replica abarth. This one is a work of art, weber 48 dcoe and even the engine block is marked "110f Abarth" wow! Congratulation to the owner of these two beauties.
Twice as nice in this video, Lou! These would make for a fun "his & hers" in the garage, except my wife would inform me they are a "hers & hers"! Thanks for sharing w/us!
Hi TheGunfighter45acp, I did not know my wife has another sister?!? She never shared with me your wife is her sister, and they must be because my wife says the EXACT same thing :-) Lou
Great to see these Italian classics! 👌🏼 Very different than the usual aren’t they? Engine in the back.. 2 cylinders, under one liter displacement. What a gem that Abarth motor is.. full aluminum 👌😩👍 Huge carb.. 💨
By the way the starter procedure with the two handles has been kept on after '72 when the 126 Fiat Personal was introduced and stayed in production until 1986 for Italy and for Poland even until 2001 ! ! ! Where it was produced. See also on " Rides with Chuck" how it was started there.
Chuck is quite a character, Lou!! Amazing 125 mph, WoW! I just wonder if having the back hood up all the time would pass inspections in the states🇺🇸 ... Love your vids & content!! Thanks, Lou
I love youre two cars, but i have two things to point out. 1. The roof on that Bianchina defiantly goes further down than that, look into it to prevent damaging it. (it also messes up the look of the car, which is arguably more important XD) 2. All the cars based on the 500 had the chassis number right up against the ..... Firewall?? (that's technically in the back but you get what i mean) under the "frunk" in one corner or the other . It should say abarth for the 695 and the Autobiachi's is on the left hand side behind the tank. Unfortunatly as he said, there are soooo many replicas being sold as originals, that the only way to "really" tell if it is an original Abarth, is to check the body number. Glad to hear that he drives them around!!

I grew up with these in Italy, at one time they were as common as termites, glad they are getting the attention and recognition they deserved. The Italians and French built some gorgeous small economic cars that answered the utilitarian call, something the Japanese and Americans have not been angle to do. I don't believe the games on the 500 are original

space maximizers.. and so much more! history and vehicular envelopment. there's controls in there for headlights and such.. but, hell, I NEVER climb it that goddamn thing- Lou, you, go ahead: show everybody the buttons! no.. really.. c'mon!

Hey Lou. Awesome looking cars. I've heard of Autobianchi, but I'd never seen one before, either in person, or on video. Same goes for Abarth. :)
Hey Jason, Glad to share some fun cars we're both getting to know more about :-) Lou
That's what I enjoy about your videos. Keep up the good work. :)
Thank you for the kind words :-) Glad you're along for the ride.

Concordo, le originali o sono tutte marce o chi le ha se le tiene strette.
You pronounce:" biankeena "not bianceena , ciao e buona fortuna.
