Gosh its draining isnt it with a controlling 3 year old... mines the same. He has to go down the stairs first, go through doors first, close the car doors etc. Hoping its a phase that will pass🤞 but let us know how you get on with the magnesium for him! X
Try listening to the audio book Good Inside, it helped us so much with our toddlers behaviour and the reasons behind it. The demanding behaviour is normally to do with connection and testing your reaction to check you can handle him, how you react will either make him feel secure or unsafe xxx
My 3 year old is exactly the same, the anger and upset over every single thing we do is insane. We have found its worse when he is over stimulated but I think 3 year olds are just really bludey hard😅
Yeah Casper is definitely worse some days than others but tbh we haven’t found a trigger yet. He’s much worse on an evening than a morning though so I figure tiredness plays a part 😂😅
God I feel for you! These strong willed toddlers are such hard work, I know it will pay off one day and he honestly is such a fab kid! Just so hard when lots of people don’t know how to handle him! Xx
I think to some extent Caspers behaviour is typical of his age. My daughter is three and I could totally imagine her doing the whole Toothpaste lid thing. She also has this thing about wanting to take her sisters nappy off and if I've done it she's wanting me to put the nappy back on so she can do it 🤦♀️.
Yeah I do think your right, his behaviour is normal for his age but I always just feel like these phases he goes through are soooo extreme compared to most 😂 like we legit can not do anything ourselves. But yeah Casper is also like that with Indie’s nappies!
My youngest would definitely do the toothpaste thing pick your battles but my god it’s so draining. Your doing amazing xx
