Are you looking for an unforgettable adventure to do this year?? The million dollar highway is one of the most, if not the most beautiful drives in America. This highway is also one of the most dangerous roads in America. Durango, Silverton and Ouray can all be reached in the same day, but I would highly recommend spending as much time as you can in each place. The history of each town is incredible and has the true old frontier vibes you can only experience in the Southwest US.
In Durango I would highly recommend eating at Oscar's Café as well as Steamworks, two very good local spots. Durango is known for being a mecca for outdoors adventurists and athletes. There is everything from hiking to river rafting to fly fishing and everything in between. Not to mention some world renowned skiing and snowboarding in the winter. Durango is the largest town of the 3, but there are plenty of hotels and air b n b's to stay at close to downtown.
Silverton is a completely different vibe in a good way. The population is around 500 and the town has amazing old Victorian houses. One of my favorite things was visiting the black smith who makes amazing art. The also have some legendary skiing in the winter as well as some cool 4x4 trails you can do in the summer. You can take Black Bear pass from Silverton to Ouray which you wont regret!
Ouray is the Switzerland of America for a very good reason. The beauty of the town surrounded by amazing mountains and views is overwhelming. This place has some incredible summer activities to do, which will leave you not wanting to ever leave. Late Spring, Summer and early Fall are the best times to travel here.
Drop me some comments if you have any questions about this trip, I would be happy to answer any you have. Also please subscribe so we can continue to make great travel content!

TERRIFIC job! I like your shots at 0:22 and 9:00... Thank you so much, R. Nate Aranda, for all the effort you have put forth to share with us this wonderful work! I hope more first-time drone pilots will see your work so that they'll get inspired to share their work too on TH-cam. Keep up the great work mate and I'll be in the loop!
Thank you I really appreciate that! It's always nice to get positive feed back. I am glad you are liking the videos because we enjoy making them! looking forward to hearing your thoughts on future videos
