Only 5 mins in, really enjoying this video, thinking it must have been produced by a channel with millions of views... I look down and this video only has 300 views?? and you've got 1.2k subs?? Keep up the good work mate, this is some seriously great content!
comment for the algo, as this type of info needs to be seen for us (the 99%), to stand any chance at all. well done vid too, esp for the channel size/experience. thx for making productive content like this
Seeing stuff like this reminds me that the we need an influential book, like Jared Diamond's "Guns, Germs and Steel". - Perhaps from evolutionary biologists or geneticists like David Reich. This version will not be called "Guns, Germs and Steel", but instead: "Genes, Genes and Genes!" so that it hopefully gets through to people
Great video with well thought structure man! Though I see it a bit different on the AI replacing human part. I think that as long as there are people willing to do work for pittance (because they live in lesser developed environments), the better-off people will always try to exploit them. We as human will not ran out of labor work. We'll just have to work more for less compensation while fighting with other AI tools and the harsher living environments.
Thank you and appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective! I agree, I do not think labour will go away, just that it'll be pushed more and more into a corner.
This looks well produced but I had clicked on this by mistake. Commenting and liking to make up for the harm I might have caused to ur watchtime. Hope u grow!
Global minimum tax would be impossible to enforce and isn't really necessary. Countries simply must refuse business opportunity to corpos that are known to funnel gains into tax havens or outsourcing work to developing world. The answer is deglobalization.
Bitcoin is the solution not higher tax. Rich people don't pay taxes and they will always get around them. Taxing corporations is taxing the possible wages of the people who work within those companies. The government has and always will be unbelievably inefficient and incompetent in every aspect. The government got us here and now you say the solution is to look to them and give them more power and money to get us out of this? Its like no matter how many times people get screwed by government we always just look to them for help so they can screw us some more. The printing of money got us here. So, instead of fixing the symptoms of this by raising taxes on the most productive members of society and removing their ability to easily employ workers and force them to adopt automation instead, why don't we fix the problem at the root which is: Removing the ability for anyone to print money and devalue i.e STEAL the money from the people who need it most (the low and middle class). Lets start there, if that doesn't work then we have a proper base to work with and can start crossing off other things. Solid money is priority one.
Interesting response, I appreciate your thoughts. The problem is Bitcoin is inherently deflationary, and runs into the same problems as the gold standard, which is that governments lose control of fiscal policy. Fiscal policy, especially a counter cyclical fiscal policy is very important for dealing with business cycles.
If poor people (most of humanity) stop to buy any non-essential for 5 years, all rich people will loose almost all their money.
So much of the economy is driven by wants rather than needs unfortunately...

So much of our fates are dictated by things we cannot control, genes being chief among them. Thanks for watching!

Bitcoin has no inherent value. It doesn't make anything or produce anything or provide anything. It's an illusion.
You are confirming my biases and telling me exactly what I want to hear with no nuance whatsoever. Perfect video🤌
Lol 🤣 I'd encourage watching videos on opposing viewpoints then. But I appreciate the view! Thank you!
