What is the point of comparing the V8 engine being up to 10x faster than the Python interpreter, when if you use Python most of the work is done in libraries written in C, C++, CUDA, etc, so is more performant than trying to do machine learning with JS, even more so JS in the browser, seems a bit desperate to me.

Its doesnt most of the work is done in C/С++, lots of work still in python.
About JS in browser - i think next step is using webassembly for calculating in browser
