My sister and I absolutely loved your Cleveland show last week! The crowd was really fun, too. You're one of our favorite bands and we are so appreciative of you guys taking time to come here. 🙏🏼 Best of luck on the rest of the tour!
Listen I was just saying how pro this Chicago show was. Also, how much you guys were having great time with us. So we are sending you all the love and support. Thank you for sharing your creative spirit with us. I hope you are feeling better soon
I never knew until your videos that buying tickets early actually helped the band a bit. We always get them asap just so we don't miss out. 😅 But it's good to know it helps beyond that as well.
Hey brother, it’s ok to get in your head about career stuff and even to be depressed. Just remember that you change lives. Knowing that a guy drove 4 hours with $300 of thc seltzer to give to the band and pass out to random fans and staff happened because of your music… should bring you a little inspiration. And it might be time to try something new with marketing, but keep in mind it’s a slow time for everybody. Things are going to pick up. Just keep doing what you do and things will become clearer when the water settles.
I’ve seen you guys at least 10 times. I live in Dallas and we don’t always have the best crowds, unfortunately. But whether it’s a sold out show in Cali or here you guys always put on a professional performance. Just dam good music. Can’t wait to come see you at home in Maryland.
I’m gonna start posting about the local show here in March! Not like I have some huge reach, but I def want to share the Ballyhooligans. Howi, your posts and reach are always awesome!
I think showing a clip of the sound check was a great idea. Keep your head up we all get depressed. Even the low energy crowds probably have a few people seeing you for the first time having what time of their life.
Bringing 2-3 friends to the KC show this Friday! My favorite hobby is bringing new friends to Ballyhoo shows 😂 Ps. Do you have a place to send fan mail? Pps thank you for all you do. Living on the road and touring is its own form of sacrifice and how you give to your fans is nothing short of a gift. Thank you and all members of Ballyhoo for all you do every day to keep sharing your music!
Thank you so much for the support, it means a lot! ❤️ We don't currently have a place to send fan mail. My wife will strangle me if I bring anything else into the house. We're in declutter mode lol
@ Thank you so much for your show in KC! I was waiting for something to be posted on insta to send thanks but I haven’t seen anything yet. The set list is awesome and I will treasure it always! Also, you all used the Planet Fitness I work at before the show and all of my coworkers just love the band now! Everyone was so excited to see me and tell me how y’all showed up. I now owe one of them $5 for the sign you one of you left at the front desk 😭thank you for the continuously positive interactions you leave on me, and now my coworkers, lives! Good luck with the rest of the tour and wishing you and all the band/crew members all the positive vibes!
I wanted to go to the Indianapolis show at HIFI however I did not hear about it till the 15th from buddies who also wished they had heard about it. Ive been a fan since 2011...Idk why advertising missed us. I go through concerts near me lists about every week...
Yeah that’s the biggest bummer. I know we’d have better turnouts if people knew we were coming. It’s very hard to cut through all the ads and content on these platforms
Good job stayin with the vlog Homie. For some reason I thought you were headed my way this month. Actually it's Brandon who's here with the Uglies tomorrow. Florida sends Love Howi!!! #ballyhoorocks
Had the best time at the CLE show!! It felt really crowded last night 🤩 A friend that I introduced to BH last year came with me to the show and brought her boyfriend, he seemed to really like you guys live. One more person to the dark side 🤣
I have the song names in my click tracks. Very first thing that comes on right whenever your song cues from your playback is the song name and then the click track.
Sounds like you could add the song names to the start of the click track? Or get a cheap computer monitor to show the setlist? But adding more tech to setup/troubleshoot probably isn't ideal
Awesome advice dude. I would love to pick your brain on targeting for ads. I’ve been running a lot of ads to get people to Spotify and trying to build up monthly listeners and all that jazz. We hadn’t put out a song in a little while and we really had no listeners and now we’re up to 3000 and our song got 6000 streams in a month which is awesome for us. I know most of its vanity and all that, but it was cool that the ads were working. I really dig your channel. I’m gonna try to get tickets for the Tally Ho show In February
Could u use billboards or local radio shows to promote the shows or is that too old school now and do the venues do any promoting? See u in Lawrenceburg next week hopefully we can get it sold out.
I totally get being in your head about things. I just got an interview with the Ohio state highway patrol for a cadet position at the academy. I have a background in military and martial arts training but I’m still a nervous wreck. Things will fall into place. Rough patches don’t last but the rough and rowdy people always survive. On a lighter note I have been doing the lords work and exposing everyone I know to ballyhoo, bumpin uglies, harbor boys, kashd out and pacific dub. My boyfriend is a huge ballyhoo fan now and his family and friends are too. Doing my due diligence 🦀
We are our own worst critic… I’m sure no one noticed the pause. Shoulder pain : tennis ball against a wall, capsaicin/tiger balm till you can get a massage. Focus on trigger points. Also, depression manifests in the body sometimes… Be gentle with yourself… Travel safe - hope to see y’all soon.
Haven't been to a concert since before covid. Would love to catch you when you are in KC but I won't have money for fun until I pay off some medical bills from my daughter.
time for some straight up prescriptions man. some sick ones! nothing wrong with some classy @$$ glasses. Those New Ray Bans you could record the whole show! just a thought homie..
Howie do you think it’s a promoter issue for only having two bands come out before hand? Also if you want to sell tickets f***** come back to Tempe or phoenix and rock the house. Vibes are always great when you guys get out here 🤘🏽
I feel you. Living in the Midwest, I know it’s tough to get larger crowds for this genre. But WE APPRECIATE you coming! I’m in Wichita and have gotten DH, BU, and Trop here in the last few years…crowds haven’t been huge, but you are appreciated! P.S. I feel you on the readers…sucks getting old.
Indy is always hit and miss for shows unfortunately. I’ve seen us show up for bands and I’ve seen people just lazy asf. Might have just been that day or something man. I sure as hell was active 😅.
My sister and I absolutely loved your Cleveland show last week! The crowd was really fun, too. You're one of our favorite bands and we are so appreciative of you guys taking time to come here. 🙏🏼 Best of luck on the rest of the tour!
That’s so great! Thank you for making it out to the show. Glad you guys had fun ❤️❤️❤️
Listen I was just saying how pro this Chicago show was. Also, how much you guys were having great time with us. So we are sending you all the love and support. Thank you for sharing your creative spirit with us. I hope you are feeling better soon
Appreciate the kind words! Glad you had a good time!
Thanks for keepin in real! 🤘🏼
Thanks for watching, dude! ❤️
That was a good one🤘🏽 #keepgoing
Thanks man!
I never knew until your videos that buying tickets early actually helped the band a bit. We always get them asap just so we don't miss out. 😅 But it's good to know it helps beyond that as well.
It definitely does. The band and venue staff are happier when the tickets are moving ahead of time. ❤️

That really is so rad, man, I appreciate you supporting and spreading the love like that!
You give the best advice Howi
Much love and respect 🙏
Glad you’re getting some value from these, dude!
I was there for this Cleveland show and it was amazing. You guys are the best and I'll keep coming back
thank you so much!

That’s how it works. We’re building a snowman here. A little bit at a time. I appreciate you spreading the word ❤️
I bring the vibes, can't wait to see you guys!!!
Let’s goooo
I think showing a clip of the sound check was a great idea. Keep your head up we all get depressed. Even the low energy crowds probably have a few people seeing you for the first time having what time of their life.
Yeah I was thinking maybe there are a lot of new people checking out the band so they’re just aren’t as hyped as others who know the words
coming soon to the merchant table Ballyhoo readers!!! 1.5 please
Let’s gooooo 🤓
@@gilcabral5999 lol. Love it.
Sick behind the scenes sounds check and good talks
Glad you enjoyed that!
Love how real you’re keeping this. Hope you fall into your groove soon and enjoy the rest of the tour 🤙
Thanks so much for watching ❤️
Getting old sucks! You guys are the best, I just upgraded to the meet and greet!!

That’s awesome! Yeah I remember one of our guys saying the PFit employees were coming.

We're excited for the Ventura show! Buying tics soon!! 🙌🏻
see you soon!
@HowiSpangler Can't wait and going to get VIP! 🥳
Had the best time at the CLE show!! It felt really crowded last night 🤩 A friend that I introduced to BH last year came with me to the show and brought her boyfriend, he seemed to really like you guys live. One more person to the dark side 🤣
Thank you so much! That’s how it builds. Bring a new friend every time. And they bring a friend and so on
Keep flying warmed us up in Vermont. They were hype af. Can’t wait to see you guys again soon!
Yeah Keep Flying are awesome. We love playing with them too!
come to Boston!!
Working on getting back. Stay tuned!

Yeah adding the song titles to the cues would help and it’d be really easy to do
Roseville CA March 1st 2025! Got a huge crew going to see y'all can't wait!
LFG!!!
Had a banger of a night there several years ago following some friends of mine on tour.
Right on!

That’s great dude! Growth is growth. Ads is an art in itself. Takes a while ti get it down
Just got tix to the Tacoma, WA show. And meet and greet 🤩
Awesome! See you soon!!
Could u use billboards or local radio shows to promote the shows or is that too old school now and do the venues do any promoting? See u in Lawrenceburg next week hopefully we can get it sold out.
Yeah those things would still help. Not as much as a good social media campaign. But yeah it all helps. See you soon!
A lot of it is the demographic, finding new people, playing in beach towns, and certain towns that have that certain music culture around it
Makes sense

@HowiSpangler thanks bud, it was nothing serious just a tonsillectomy. Safe travels!
time for some straight up prescriptions man. some sick ones! nothing wrong with some classy @$$ glasses. Those New Ray Bans you could record the whole show! just a thought homie..
Yeah I’ve looked a little bit. I wanna get lasek at some point. If I can help it I don’t wanna wear glasses all the time
Howie do you think it’s a promoter issue for only having two bands come out before hand? Also if you want to sell tickets f***** come back to Tempe or phoenix and rock the house. Vibes are always great when you guys get out here 🤘🏽
Bad promotion is definitely a factor. Some buyers don’t wanna do the work. We’ll be back to AZ Feb 18th 🙌
Thank you dude! Appreciate the insight. There a so many factors are to why people decide to go or not go to a show. Hope to catch you soon!
Love you, bro. Me and the wife have tix to see you at record bar in KCMO on Friday. Can’t wait! 🤙🏼
200 miles is close enough.
Man I wanna get you on my show so damn bad. I wanna introduce my buddy howi to my audience and let them hear you. It would open a whole new crowd man.
@@MotivatedOneLegger petition to get howi on the MOL podcast!
I’m down dude. Just need to make the time for it

I really appreciate it, dude. Ha ha. Thanks for being there!
Absolutley man. Had to buy that care bear hoodie 😅🤘
