I very much enjoy watching, particularly this teacher, give her excellently explained lessons. However, it is very annoying that I cannot see the Japanese text that goes along with the lesson because English text is typed over it. Also, I want to listen to her without it being translated immediately for me, so I hold my hand over the translation, but I am missing out on the reading portion of the lesson. Is there a way I can watch these videos without the translation typed over them?
Thank you for your reply. None of the other videos I watch are on cc, so I am unfamiliar with and didn't think of that. I am having trouble finding the cc button. Could you please instruct me about its location?
If you are watching on your computer, there is a "CC" button on the bottom right of the video screen. If you are watching on your phone, you should be able to find it in the top right. :)

You can turn off the captions by tapping/clicking the "CC" button.
