explanation for faq: internal humidity refers to fluid retention, the chinese language doesnt really have a word for fluid retention so this is the closest thing. the horn scraping (gua sha) is supposed to bring stagnant blood up, it also causes microtrauma which breaks up scar tissue.
There is no such thing as “stagnant blood” that is completely made up nonsense by people who know nothing about anatomy and physiology. Blood is constantly filtered by renal and hepatic functions. If someone had “stagnant blood” it would create sepsis and kill the person. This is nonsense.
I've lost count of how many times I've watched the horn scrubbing part. It triggers the pain-pleasure part of my brain and helps me relax. Thanks Cleo. Wonderful video. If you can make that part longer next time, it'll be much appreciated.
Usually the scraping part is to help take out the trapped blood vessels in your muscles to help them heal quicker, bleeding does not occur and only the bruising you see is the trapped blood being released.

Ok that looks painful and all but what I’m questioning right now is, how you can control when you’re relaxed and when you’re not?? My body is just always stiff! I feel like I can’t relax it no matter how hard I try
No clue if this helps, but try going limp. I think of it as trying to replicate how you would ‘look’ (that way I focus on the look and not just relaxing the muscles) if you die or are asleep.
