It all started as a 'joke', their first song was something just for the fans at their concert but the fans loved them so much that they released the song officially. They are the mood makers of SEVENTEEN ever since pre-debut era, the funniest in the group, and yet they managed to become a real sub unit of SEVENTEEN.
the fact that bss was created literally as fanservice and their first song didn't even have a proper mv always amazes me. the purpose of this album is to cheer up people throughout their day (hence the 3 songs with different moods for morning, noon and after work) the thing i love most about bss is how their songs are always so them - positive, fun, like friends that always manage to cheer you up before and after a long day. bss made it their mission to make kpop less "serious" and succeeded.
also their first single "just do it" bss+ot13 and the live stages for "fighting" and "7pm" are must-watch (top-tier adlibs and live singing).
'Just do it' ot13 is a must. I instantly happy when watching this performance.
7pm is my favourite healing songs although it's a bit hurt for single person since no one would wait me at 7 pm😢 But since I have seventeen, I'll be fine😂
Fighting always makes me energize everytime I watch it😁 I love it so much. They singing live. And hoshi highnote is not what I'm expected. Who would give highnote part to their main dancer?? Seventeen always surprised us everytime they make comeback😍
BSS is a unit made based on the gag/funny trio from SVT, that since predebut this trio is pretty famous.. Start from Seokmin (DK) and Soonyoung (Hoshi) being a duo, always together and named "SeokSoon Talk".
And then they maDe their own radio show andromeda, live streamed at afreeca tv.. with seungkwan and soonyoung (Hoshi) as VJ/Host, then seokmin (DK) come often as a guest...
They're using radio show as to gain fans before debut ((this is happen with 17TV in green/melona room))...
so the name BSS = Boo Seungkwan, Soonyoung (Hoshi), Seokmin (DK).. that's why they're using their real name not the staged name except seungkwan..
Their first debut as unit at Caratland 2018 (seventeen fanmeeting), with "Just Do It" ((you guys should check it, if haven't)).. this is also a popular demand by carat to make them debut... "Fighting" is their first comeback after 5 years hiatus lolol...
P.S. you should see the live stage of fighting and 7pm ...

Thank you for mentioning seventeen talent. We really appreciate that. They deserved more recognition, even more than what they have now although they already well known. I feel seventeen have done so much that makes us cannot deny that they is an all rounder performers. They not only being performer on stage but also being our healing and medicine to cure our pain. That's why seventeen also called as healing group and I'm so proud to be a carat🤭❤️

15:51 The reason for BSS was also discussed in Seventeen guide you guys reacted to but I guess you missed it so I'll tell you upon my knowledge :) Seungkwan, Dk and Hoshi have been the gag trio since trainees and are the mood makers of the group. In 2018, they prepared the song "Just Do It" for a special award performance ig but fans loved it so much and didn't wanted that masterpiece to let go off like that so they debuted a sub unit of them 3. That's why this wasn't an official debut
Now after 5 years, they debuted with their first album and fans loved it so much ! If you see "Just Do It" you'll see how fighting is a continuation of their concept.
