Hari Penegakan Kedaulatan Negara (National Sovereignty Enforcement Day) is a National Day commemorated every March 1.
This is based on the General Offensive of March 1, 1949, where the incident was a continuation of the Dutch Military Aggression II which aimed to reclaim the territory of the Republic of Indonesia by targeting Yogyakarta as its main target because at that time, Yogyakarta was the capital city of Indonesia.
The General Offensive of March 1 witnessed the struggle of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) against the Dutch Allies.
This concert was held on March 1-2, 2024 at the Jakarta Simfonia Hall, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
The song "Lir Ilir" is a folk song from Central Java Province known as a "tembang dolanan" (a game song played by children in the past).
This song was created by Sunan Kalijaga, one of the most powerful of the 9 Wali Songo.
Wali Songo comes from the word "Wali" which means "defender, close friend or leader" and the word "Songo" which means "nine"
Wali Songo = 9 leaders who are close to Allah SWT who have made a great contribution to the spread of Islam in Indonesia, especially in Java.
Sunan Kalijaga created this song as a means of spreading Islam in Java in the early 16th century when the Majapahit Kingdom collapsed and the entry of the dukes of the Kadipaten in Majapahit, especially on the coast of Java.
Through this song, Sunan Kalijaga wants to invite the Javanese people to embrace, believe in and practice Islam without going against the current of customs that have long developed, namely Hinduism - Buddhism.

    " Ilir-ilir "lyric
Lir ilir lir ilir tandure wus sumilir
    Tak ijo royo royo
    Tak sengguh panganten anyar
Cah angon cah angon penekno blimbing kuwi
Lunyu lunyu penekno kanggo mbasuh dodotiro
Dodotiro dodotiro kumintir bedah ing pinggir
Dondomana jrumatane kanggo seba mengko sore
    Mumpung padang rembulane
    Mumpung jembar kalangane
    Yo surak o surak hiyo
    translate - bahasa Indonesia
    bangunlah,,bangunlah, tanamannya sudah bersemi
    berwarna hijau seperti pengantin baru
wahai bocah, anak kecil, panjatlah pohon belimbing
walau licin panjatlah untuk membasuh pakaianmu
bajumu ( kain / dodot (kain batik) ) koyak di sebelah tepi
jahitlah dan rawatlah untuk pertemuan nanti sore
    selagi masih purnama
    selagi masih banyak waktu
    ayo bersoraklah sorak hore
    translate -- English
wake up,,wake up, the plants have blossomed
    green like a new bride
O boy, little boy, climb the starfruit tree.
Even though it's slippery, climb it to wash your clothes.
your shirt (cloth / dodot (batik cloth)) is torn at the edge
sew it up and take care of it for the meeting later in the afternoon
while the moon is still full
while there is still plenty of time
    let's cheer up... hooray
    the meaning.
Get up and offer prayers while it is still morning, fresh, and young.
keep doing it even though it sometimes slips away with time and busyness.
all done to wash away our sins that cling to our clothes.
the garment of faith that is sometimes torn at the fabric.
Sew it to face God at dusk, when age is over.
while the full moon can still be found.
while there is still plenty of time
and rejoice when reaping the rewards

Even though I have known the meaning of the lyrics, I'm still thankful to read it again. It is as if I am reminded not to miss my prayer to Allah. Subhanallah... This is soo beautiful.
