Robbaz, you inspired me to get back in KSP and download some weaponry mods. I then tooled around with nukes. While messing around with them, i accidentally release two nukes still in my closed cargo bay. They don't go off immediately, so i do the most logical thing to do in this situation; i open the cargo bay doors. The nukes come out and detonate, killing Jeb and Bob, and destroying KSC.

@Robbaz, you probably already know but it's worth mentioning that with tweakscale if you click and drag the scale bar instead of using the scale up/down buttons you can free-scale in small increments.
Great vtol. the space station idea sure is ambitious. maybe try for a series of modular ships that once they leave the atmosphere can connect together rather than trying one massive structure. like one rocket dedicated solely to the space station's swimming pool, that way when you want to you could reorganize the station layout by just flying all the pieces around a bit.

Try making a small one first, and put whatever vtol device at center mass.
