Kudos again to MoreBeer for developing these kits! I’m an experienced brewer as well as a disabled Veteran. Sometimes my planned brew day gets cancelled or is a slog to go through due to my foot and back issues. That is an ideal time for me to utilize the ease and speed of a Flash Kit. I get to “brew” beer without over burdening my busted body. Well done!!
Guys this is genius. I love it! I’ve been homebrewing for a few years now doing all grain but haven’t been able to scratch out time for a brew day since January as I’ve been having to work 6-7 days a week. I’ll be checking out the website and pricing these kits for sure. And for the new brewers, this can save a ton of money and time and hopefully make our beloved hobby a little more inviting and approachable. Freaking awesome guys. Love it!
I've been asked to do a 30-minute demo about homebrewing at a local fair as part of my club's outreach booth and homebrew competition support. I'm going with this to keep logistics down and demonstrate brewing can be as simple or as complex as anyone wants with good results across the board. Perfect timing!
Cole, shoot us an email- freebeerfriday AT moreflavor dot com - let us know you’re from TH-cam and going to do a demo for your homebrew club and we’ll send you a free kit!
Thanks for the closer look under the hood. Stoked to put together the Cali Mountain Pale Ale this weekend. Not related to Flash Brewing, but something you said in this video got me to thinking. Chris said something about Campden tablets potentially lending a metallic taste when used in brewing water that is not actually boiled. When we make hard cider in the autumn from fresh pressed apple juice that has been treated with Campden tablet for 24 hours, is that affecting the end flavor of the cider (since it's also not boiled).
I like the Mangrove Jacks Hard cider packs as they are quick to get another tap option. Might have to check out one of these flash kits and have it on hand when I have little time due to work and running low on suds.
Great news to hear......you guys need to dbl time the 1gal version to market.......and get some restocks on your 1gal kits you already have, I didn't want to but had to go to another vendor sadley.
Getting rdy to do a double batch Fresh Pressed IPA. Main reason is my last all grain brew day got ruined by a flash storm that rolled through lasting about 15 min but dumping so much rain and I brew outside. I am continuing my "THOR is a bastard" brew but wanted something else going incase the main brew was needing to be tossed. Thanks for all you guys do making our hobbies more enjoyable.
Whoa, pretty crazy. I *just* uploaded my personal review on my channel when this video appeared: th-cam.com/video/ujh0mr4a7Ls/w-d-xo.html Also whoa: I'm literally drinking my flash brew IPA as I write this! 😂Thanks for creating these handy kits, MoreBeer!
I've got 2 kits coming any day now, just to try out. But you were out of the one I really wanted., Red IPA😢 untill then I'm working on my temperature control Freezer.😊 Good Job at coming up with the Flash System😊
Seems like a good setup but $70 for a plastic container with a plastic hose???? Jesus. That alone is off putting for a lot of people. What if i want multiple now $70 a pop starts to look ridiculous especiwlly in joe bidens bidenomics economy. Had it been $40 would be a no brainer to buy multiple.
If you want multiple fermenters you don't have to buy a second or fourth kit. You just buy extra fermenters. You could get the kit and then buy some cheap 6 gallon buckets from them or other vendors to save money. $70 is a great way to get into brewing if you're new to the hobby. I paid close to $200 on my extract starter kit from Northern Brewer when I started brewing in 2012.
Any chance you will make an Octoberfest kit, before Octoberfest?

Wow, super awesome. Email sent, thanks guys. I'll ask our club's social media lead to post any pictures of the session

I started the Flash Citra Pale a couple of days ago. What OG should I see and what is the average FG.

Brewed the Pliny clone a while back. Got great comments from friends.
Looking forward to trying this option
I've bottled the Hefeweizen kit, and so far it tastes, looks and smells just like a Bavarian hefeweizen.
Thanks for answering our questions. Received my Fresh Pressed kit, and can't wait to try it.
Any issues fermenting under pressure with these FB kits? I’d like to try it out in my new FermZilla A.R.😁

What if needed a lower or zero ABV; is that achievable using one of your kits?
Certainly has its place.
Bottling safe, I assume?
Use standard methods for sugars for bottle conditioning, correct?
Thanks for all the info. I was just looking at these. Really thinking about the citra or hefe.
Just curious, does anyone know which kit got a 34 from the judges? It might not be a bad idea to put that next to the kit on your website.

I add oxygen to my brewing when I ferment. Would that be ok?
Fixing to order a flash kit. Sounds good for summer when I am busy with work

I just got the one I wanted . Irsh red. Going to get all three going on Sunday, I just have to put the valves in my new fermenters
Is the flash yeast harvestable for another batch?
Did I miss the part where the yeast question was asked… and heavily alluded to in the thumbnail?
Is flash yeast kveik strain?
