    The fireman's carrying is used to carry someone not in fighting, yes you use his arm over your shoulder and his waist and hips go into your opposite shoulder and it's used to carry someone that weighs more than you. Eagle scout. Troop 57

    Pls. don't use the John Cena's Attitude Adjustment version of Fireman's Carry. This is really excellent during rescue operations when the victim declares either injured or unconscious.

    The rolling technique seems to be the fastest one after you master it, but I have the feeling that even then there's a reasonable chance of dislocating the person's knee

    Excellent video. I learned so much. When I was practicing the fireman's carry in the Marines they were always allowing themselves to be pick up but trying on a totally limp body was a much more difficult task. I'd not seen this carry til now, awesome stuff

    240lbs is quite a realistic weight too. Are most soldiers 240lbs? No. Are a lot of soldiers over 240lbs in a plate carrier and webbing? Yeah. If it's move, move, move time and you haven't got time to be pulling stuff off, even a guy without a ruck is going to be very fuckin' heavy.

    Im 250 pounds and I just fell outside a casino..and a decent size dude probably 190 went to help me with one hand to one hand and Im deceizingly heavy, I look 200-205, I said "thx man are u strong?" he didnt answer, he didnt give me time to get my feet under me, he got me up but just barely. If he had just did the first part of this and let me get my feet under me, it would've been easier for the both of us. Too bad you werent outside the casino, you wouldnt have had an issue lifting me, lol. good video man

    I'm hoping you can show this in full kit, I've been practicing the fireman's carry in my full gear but our dummy is only 170lbs, I wear the full kit including SCBA but I'm having a lot of trouble actually going from completely flat to on shoulder

    So hey bro you can use your feet as as an anchor point and then use both your knees to snack his knees back into place and then use your body and his as a fulcrom and this is not a fighting stance or move it's a life saving modem to carry someone not to slam them

    Interesting techniques. However, when smoke and heat is involved, it is better to do the rautek technique to keep the victim closer to the ground and avoid the weight of the legs
