I think it is bcz by an action of increasing magnetic field strength there is an opposite reaction (decreasing field strength) by induced current , Am i right ?
Sir theres a problem in the first diagram below the statement of the lenzs law ( there when the magnet came close to the coil the the coil made south infront of the north of the magnet) but in the second example there u told tht when the north of the coil come close the coil it opposes it by Making it's on Noth pole ( of the coil )

Accordingly, the coil will generate an opposite North and South pole so as to conserve the the energy. Also because of Newton's third law. If you point your thumb in the direction of North pole, you will see the direction of current i.e. towards the motion of your curling fingers
If south pole of magnet is used and its brought close to coil then coil will form south pole infront of magnet's south pole hence coil will repel the magnet. And flux will decrease.
