Girl!! The wig you are wearing in this video is by far my favorite on you so far. I’m new to you so I have 5000 more videos to go- but I just had to say something
Airbrush concealer works great also and can get it in lighter then the leg spray. Or perfect line Swiss with some sprayed foundation at the very front. Another tip....use the metal end of your comp to tuck the hairs back
Hi Jesse, ❤elanie here...its Melanie!! ANY HU, thank u for taking ur time to share ur method of hiding knots on synthetic wigs. This is both a question and topic that is very popular among wig weares. I think what ur doing/ sharing is amazing and necessary however being a seasoned wig wearer and in several forums where this question is often asked I think the only drawbacks to ur video are the lack of good lighting and the need for deliberate close ups on both ur b4 and after reveals. Both these things would truly grant u more thumbs up, more subscribers, and even more shared videos..I hope that my comment is received in love, and with a tool for guidance and not a judgment critique. Your fabulous, could you, would you do it again ? I would like to follow and share you with everyone. Stay safe beautiful lady Ur fan ❤elanie
Thank you so much for your critique! My husband and I were talking about this the other day. We agreed we need some more elements to really step up the video quality. We are in the process of getting the things we need to step up this channel. Thanks so much for watching and sharing with us!
@@JesseMSimons FANTASTIC, I'm certain as u both put in the work, you will no doubt grow. I can't wait to see what you share next. Im not positive of the extent of your wig knowledge but are you open to a suggestion ? As I told u, I am a seasoned wig wearer and I have watched 100' s of videos regarding wigs maybe more anyway how about this for content: I have searched and searched relentlessly on TH-cam for a Tutorial on How to wash and care for 100% hand tied cap wigs !!! There are none that I could find, the only real difference is that the cap beings handtied can not be kept soaking in the conditioner for hours because it will stretch and possibly loosen the knots and cap...think about it do a search, you'll see. ,I will be waiting on ur next video.. ❤elanie
@@JesseMSimons this Was the first Video i watched from ur channel and i immediately subscribed because you seem to be such a nice and lovely Person. Thanks for replying to me as well. I know i am just one random person of thousands 🥰
Swiss lace grid concealer? I have a video on that as well. The method I use here is more for just concealing the knots where as the Swiss lace balm product fills in the grid as well.
That’s why I recommend using the spray on it after you put it on it helps kind of lock it on there I haven’t had any issues with it moving or coming off on me but I am also in NJ. It get hot here but not Texas hot!!! It shouldn’t really move to much though. I’ve used that Got2be spray in the summer up here and in FL to install my wigs and they didn’t budge.
It's one that was retired... Sorry. ChelseySmithcosmetics.com/jesse Is the company where the wig comes from you can find others there that you might like too!
I absolutely love the tip however, you can’t see what the wig knots looked like before at all, and you can’t see what they look like after either at all… that probably should’ve been zoomed in times 55,000..
Just fyi I got the exact same color and it’s way way to dark and orange so if you are actually “fair” like me and don’t wear lots of makeup or bronzer it’s going to look dumb also if you get it off amazon it was none returnable for me due to being aerosol…. Also it didn’t hide the knots but maybe I did it wrong. Nit sure how you can spray wrong but perhaps I did . ❤❤
There is a trick to using it. I have a couple of videos that updated this technique on my page. th-cam.com/video/P-uOp-FoZiU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=MsT0HDLe7anXPgv7 Hope this video is more helpful!
This is entire content that has been produced over and over again by women of color who choose to wear wigs on this platform and others, they do a better job of explains these techniques so please give credit to them instead of using their content to make money, it is disrespectful!!
I always give credit when I watch someone else do something and I try it or tweak it. I genuinely haven’t seen a video using Sally Hanson leg spray to hide knots personally. I actually got the idea from a wig group I’m in that was using spray foundation so I tried out this method myself and thought I would share how I use it. TH-cam is a huge platform for everyone to come and find whatever it is they are looking for. Enough room for everyone who wants to teach and learn. Didn’t make this video to be disrespectful to anyone. I’m just here to help out my fellow wig wearers. Thank you for checking it out and for the feedback. I’m sorry if the video wasn’t what you were looking for.
So the spray to color and glue to hold it on? Also....how to we conceal that lace line where it ends and meats the skin at the part in the front? Thats been my biggest issue and what makes it sooo obvious. Do we do baby hairs that just hang down to hide it? Thanx in advance.
Hi Brooklyn! Send me some photos of the wig on over on my IG and I can help you figure it out for sure! It’s easier to help if I can see what we are working with. 😊
I love hearing about all of the common products that can be used to take care of synthetic wigs and make them look better! Thanks for sharing them!!

I agree! I was just going to say this!
Thank you !! I have a dark synthetic wig that’s just been collecting space and I thought it was finally time to try it out and work on it
Your tips have helped me make this wig look at least $50 more expensive 😍😍
That's how you do it!

I love that braided wig, do you have a link?
It’s not made anymore
gotta try this!
Yes!! Game changer!! Let me know how it turns out!
Do u get the color of your actual scalp color or your face color in this spray for your unit?
I usually get a shade lighter than my skin tone because our scalps arent usually tan.
How does this compare to the balm product which comes in a container similar to a deodorant (can’t remember the product name)

I'm wondering, would the heat make any of it run.. The spray or concealer? I'm in Texas so it gets really hot here.

I tried this on my new dark red hair wig and the spray went through and tainted the roots. How do you fix this?
