This brings me back to the days in the 90s when I used to listen to mod music on my Mac IIsi and I used to make mod music myself. I actually just released an album called 'Weinermart' that was made on a mod tracker program called 'Meditor'...

Japtique sounds really familiar for some reason. Sounds a lot like Jamiroquai or something.

You mean Amiga never thought about going 16-bit? They just kept on being 8-but until 1994?

Don't get confused about *what* is 8-bit here. The audio consists of 8-bit samples, which means every audio sample is some number from 0 to 255. The Amiga computers were based on the Motorola 68k series of CPUs, of which some were partially 16 and partially 32 bit processors, and later ones were fully 32 bit ones. In reality, "bits" is a much more complicated thing than 1990s game console commercials would want you to believe.

Sound card for Amiga exists, software that use the AHI sound system, can lots of different sound cards. Amiga Paula sound chip has 4 individual sample channels, some smart people found ways to combine two channels to create 2 x 14bits channels, that trick used when playback mp3 or wav’s.

Damn! Any idea where to find Celsius - Manic Velocity? It doesn't appear in any of the common archives, but that track is f'n insane
