Wow! That's a lot of snow! I'm glad I have a garage to park in! But if it's snowing when I'm at work, I have to clean my car off! You sure cleaned yours off really clean! Praying for your friend, John, for a speedy recovery!
That was so neat . Thanks for sharing the snow storm with us😊. The trees where just so beautiful with their white frosting. I simply LOVE snow ❄️. Praying for John, hoping he has a quick recovery 🙏🏻
Thank you so much what a fantastic video. Snow always looks so clean and fresh. I so enjoyed that. Prayers for John 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 so pleased it wasn’t as bad as he thought. My brother had All five toes removed from one foot and he walks around really well. He will still be able to hike with you. Thanks again for that, please stay safe and take care
This was shocking news...didn't expect that. I know he is your sometime hiking buddy and very good family friend. His illness touches us, your true subscribers also and makes us pause. As you said: "Life is like that sometimes!" Yes it is and it touches us all. Tell him I am thinking of him and of course I am praying for him! No matter the surgery, I count on him hiking with you again...it's a matter of time, that's all. They do wonderful things these days with missing limb situation and we thank our brave military men and women for that who provided the incentives for great inventions to put people's lives back on track after catastrophic injuries. Your friend needs to heal this nasty infection. I am sure all of us have heard about that too! It happens to all ages out of nowhere unless it is the consequence of an illness such as diabetes. Thank you for telling us. I believe he will get a few cards to let him know we are thinking of him!
Sending prayers of healing for your friend John. Not enough snow has ever fallen in South Texas to cover a car completely in my lifetime. Hence, I never knew how to clean off a car until now.
@@joyceadams7426 Hmmm mine has been raining for days but it’s cold out here now, by the way where are you from?? Though you really do have a killers smile 😊 I bet lot of people must have been running after you and letting you how bodacious you her Joyce…
Glad to hear your friend is doing better. Health is truly a wealth. You are getting way more snow than we are in south central British Columbia. My wife's brother lives in central Saskatchewan...minus 45 C tomorrow. No thanks! Hans
Thanks for taking us on this snow journey! So thank that John didn't lose more than a few toes. God is good. We will keep him in our prayers, please give us updates when you can. I agree with you....if it's gonna snow, may as well have alot of it! It's snowing right now here in Ohio.
Always enjoy your videos! I'm sorry to hear about your friends John. As I'm typing this you gave a positive update, glad to hear he's doing better! I'm going to keep him in my prayers 🙏! I have to say I like snow, here in Philly our total accumulation ended up about 14 inches. Last year our total for ALL winter was about .3 inches!
Best wishes to John. I'm happy his surgery was less extensive than first thought. I hope he heals well and is able to continue to travel with you, Cliff.
Cliff, I loved your snow video. Grew up on L.I., but have lived in north Fla so long that I don't know how I'd handle driving in snow. I'm sending my best wishes to your friend John for a quick and total recovery. Bless him.
My heart is full of good prayers for John. He's going to have a hard row ahead, but I look forward to his recovery and seeing him with you in videos as time goes on.
Best wishes and prayers for John and his speedy recovery.❤ I am addicted to your videos! And John is a hoot to have along! Love and blessings to you both!
Really enjoyed this video.......very peaceful in the snow......thank you for doing this and give best wishes to John. Enjoyed his company in your videos......
Praying for John to recover quickly. In no time you both will be together exploring again. It is interesting how snow changes the look of the landscape. So beautiful and peaceful. Thanks Cliff.
I am very sorry to hear about Johns medical issues. I am very glad to hear that it was not as bad as it could have been. Please pass my best wishes on to him for a good outcome and a speedy recovery. Snow can be a pain in the A$$, but it can certainly be beautiful. That was quite the pile of snow on Naomi! Thanks for documenting the snow storm. Take care.
Firstly, my best goes out to John for his recovery. The video itself was so awesome. Snow is rare Down Under except in the Eastern States in the higher mountains in winter, but this footage is mind-blowing and beyond my comprehension. Uncovering Naomi was a task in itself and it seemed like you got a great cardio workout. Thank you so much for taking us along.
Surgery humor: back in the early 1960s when my sister was in first grade she had to have her tonsils out. Before she went in, she asked our family doctor to save the tonsils for her in a jar of formaldehyde (medical waste regulations were almost non-existent back then). Doc Kester was puzzled, but he put them in a mason jar and gave them to my sister. .... Needless to say, she *rocked* Show-And-Tell that month, ROFLMAO!!!
Hope John will be okay and recover with out any problems. Be careful and stay safe. Tell John to dry the toes and make a necklace. Glad he is feeling better enough to joke with you. After Sat they are saying next 6 night time temps will be in the Minus -1 and maybe lower.sure hope not.
Great video . Sending best wishes and a speedy recovery to John . Hope your mum's doing OK and staying in the warm . Can't wait to see the snow shelters . You really need a warm hat to keep your ears warm . Keep safe Cliff .
I’m a relatively new Pennsylvanian, I suspect the winters are milder than they were 20 years ago. I feel strongly that winter should be freezing! Stack your logs! 🙏💕✨ for John.
Sorry to hear about John. Seems a jovial fellow. It'll take some time to rehab, losing toes can have a dramatic effect on balance. Best wishes, John. God bless!
Hi Cliff, the snow really does look beautiful on the tree branches, kind of like a black & white photo where the brown of the branches are accentuated with the white of the snow on the top part. Good news about John, I hope he is okay and is starting to feel a lot better bless him, sending him all my love and prayers🙏💖 . You did a fab job clearing Naomi, how long did it take ?? I bet you were nice and warm after finishing taking all that snow off. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx 🙏💖
Where are you from that you've never seen the snow. I live about 25 minutes from where this was filmed and yes snow is beautiful. It's just a pain when you have to shovel it all.
Good wishes unto your friend John. I’m recently disabled, and I watch your videos to see places I can’t get to anymore. I’m sure he will be okay. It definitely sucks, but as they say, any day above ground is a good day. I wish him the absolute best.
Your camera seems to function quite well in low light and low temperatures. Sure miss that snow. All the best to John, tell him be strong, God is with him always.
My heart & prayers for Jon! May he be blessed with wellness of body & mind. Hope to see him with you exploring soon. Thank you so much for the snow diary Cliff. Just so Beautiful!! Good to see Naomi from under her blanket of snow. I think the kids learning to make snow shelters is amazing. Did you have class Wednesday? Please tell Jon so many prayers are being sent for his continued strength & recovery. Many hugs for him & you! Please update us on how he is doing. 🙏❤
I'll keep John in my prayers for continued recovery. My husband also had some toes amputated. He is still walking and is in good health. After he had his first toe amputation, he joked that it was so big that a tow(toe) truck was needed to haul it away. Feel free to reach out if you need any advice.
Prayers for John. Glad it turned out better than they thought. When he's better and up and about maybe you could do an info video with him on how it all happened. How a little infection can get in the bone and turn to something really bad. Let others know it's something to really watch for
Up here in Tioga Co. near NY line we have not seen bare ground much since the week before Xmas. We got around 24 inches or more then. Since then we have gotten almost every night and most days have gotten Lake affect snow. Got about a foot this week. I try to keep my tank in car no less then 1/2 full. If you run it down real low you risk your gas line freezing. Also have survival supplies in case of break down Blanket, snack bars, shovel , container of kitty liter to put under wheels for traction. Full tank of gas also gives weight for better traction.
That magical scene you mentioned at 29:00 is all stuck to the trees. We used to have branches breaking when it did this with freezing rain. In our subdivision it sounded like a war zone.
My best wishes to John many prayers for him and healing,,oh no he has osteomyelitis a infection in the bone not a diagnosis just a nurses guess ...john is a great guy,,,keep your spirits up John all will be well..he will be on iv antibiotics for a while but it's worth it so you heal .i am an MSN, RN for 38 years now,,,God Bless him..i love him sense of humor,,,keep smiling John..all will be well
I'm behind apparently. I'm so glad that John is doing well. I am disabled and I know how it effects your life. Prayers. The snow is so dreamy. I live in north GA. We get a lot of teasing with flurries, then the depressing let down. REJECTION!
I found the best way to clean off my car is with a plastic-bladed snow shovel like Cliff's doing. I can get under the snow and pretty much just push most of it off the car; once it's gone, then I use my scraper for the ice. Of course, the car is running while I'm using the shovel, so most of the ice has melted by the time I get around to it.
