You guys are awesome thanks so much for your support. If this video gets 10k likes I’ll post a picture of where I’m headed to get a look at the Evo’s we didn’t get in the states!
Ohhh man that moment with Jeff! When the master has told his old apprentice that he has now become the master was just a BEAUTIFUL moment! The young master in Jack is now carrying on his master’s wonderful skillset so this craft may live on. I just LOVE these kinds of stories.
I like this comment community, Hey Jack, you keep getting better at filming and editing stuff. A good skilled talented worker on TH-cam is a goldmine for beginners. Thank you.
This is turning out to be one of my favorite channels to look out for new videos.. This project will be a success, because of your hard work and determination to make it look like it did when it was new.. Your skills keep you above the rest of the youtube world who also do this.
I owned a 2007 EVO IX MR for about 2 years and I regret ever selling it. I learned to race in that car. I met so many awesome people in the car scene. So many road trips with 10-12 other guys with EVOs all crusing the highways. So many good memories. That shot of you with that huge grin on your face going to your friend's shop was incredible. Two car seats in the back with your dream car in tow, what a blessing. I'm honestly so honored that you're sharing this build with all of us, takes me back to some amazing memories watching you build this.
I love watching backyarders work through ways of doing this sort of work, but watching a skilled professional do it is a whole other level. One of my favourite projects on TH-cam at the moment.
It's so nice to see someone doing work like this who genuinely knows what they are doing and shows all their work and explanations it all. Like I actually feel like I have learned something after watching this. Keep up the good work man 👍
This series is actually pretty decent at showing all the steps and procedures involved in changing a quarter panel. You make it look so easy but I can only imagine how difficult and years of expertise come together.
Gotta say, by the end of this the Evo is going to look even better than how it looked the day it rolled off of the factory floor. You're doing good work Jack, looking forward to seeing how this progresses!
I really enjoy watching you work. You are putting a lot of effort into the Evo. The quality and precision is really impressive and deserves a lot of respect.
Jack doesn't disappoint he gives the people what they want to see a full restoration on a jdm legend just love your work ethic and your skill is second to non
Jack Builds has become my favourite auto resto channel, while this is not sometime i would ever do, i really like watching Jack exercise his super powers on his channel. This channel is relatable, rebuilding 2m dollar McLaren's is not. Every kid grew up dreaming of EVOs and other JDM stuff, only spoilt rich prics ever heard of or had any interest in McLaren's.
I have no idea if anyone else noticed it, but that edit Jack when you paused the music and added the sound of you hammering was such an epic little touch. Its awesome seeing the bodywork stuff your doing. Not as much of that online as much as engine tinkering. Your a true artist.
Love the subtle nod to the GT3! Excellent work as always Jack! Keep it up! So many people are as interested in this rebuild as the P1 - that should tell you something! As MA says - HWBT!!
Personally o find this one more interesting than the P1. This is more of a hands on grass roots build… that evo kit Freddy got for the p1 would probably pay for a supercar by itself. Not as relatable.
This is how repairs should be done ! Probably the only content i look forward to watching on youtube now, as you show everything you do and don’t take any short cuts ! keep up the amazing work 🎉
Holy crap, I remember Jeff from back when he had the Evo 8. Used to see him all the time at OSW when I used to take my SRT-4 out there in the early 2000's. Very friendly guy!
I love Tavarish and Mat Armstrong videos but watching a true body repair specialist work is incredible. Impeccable results so far, I'm sure this Evo will look fantastic at the end, can't wait to see it. Keep it up Jack!
Jack watching you work on your evo is so relaxing. I definitely enjoy watching this more than tavarish's current build because this is more "obtainable"...
Hi Jack. Its Liam from Ireland again lol. Wow Jack thats a Proper job your doing. It was a pleasure watching you working with the Camera. Great job and that Welding machine for doing Factory welds is brilliant. I have never seen anything like that before. Thats the back nearly if not Done. All that extra work you didn't know about. Anyway great video as usual Jack and Chat laters bro 😊😊
Jack is the man! Someone who stays true to his craft and shows us every step taken regardless of fast forwarding. Keep it up man! Can't wait to see the final touches to your evo 8!
Absolutely love this @jackbuildsit! I like spending time with the old timers in the workshop at my work as they explain everything to me in simple language. Watching your videos gives me the same feeling. They are restoring an older car too, a 1927 1000hp Sunbeam that was the first car ever to go over 200mph.
Wow.... You can see the stress and the passion and the pride in your work! I absolutely love your explanation before just working as I'm not in any way a professional. I can understand the why not just the how.
Loving this series Jack, love your passion and attention to detail. This car is going to be top drawer when you're finished, can't wait to see the final result. Keep up the good work bud 👊
Man, Jack, all I can say is keep up the great work and I’m loving this series. I have a soft spot for Evo’s and you’re doing such a good job in bringing yours back to life. Can’t wait to see how it goes!
It makes me so happy seeing such an iconic car being saved. It'll also be better than factory cuz you care way more than the robot who built it. Even though you got a mini assist from a robot on those welds haha.
Honestly I am gutted every time I see there is no update I have to go to other not as good car stuff to fill my addiction. Such good content and great master at work. Great to see. Great progress Jack can't wait for next video.
Lets start with….. how Stunning that Mustang sounds & looks!!!! From my little world in Angus Scotland 🏴 im loving watching you build your dream car Hacky-Jack 😋, like a surgeon during open heart surgery cool calm collective & focused! Keep up the outstanding work!! ❤️🏴
Being a relatively newbie to bodywork, It's a pleasure watching you work on this Hack, I mean Jack. If you want an apprentice, I'll jump on a plane lol
Love the videos Jack and beautiful work. We love our Evos and scoobies in the UK and can’t wait to see how amazing it’s going to be when it’s finished.
You guys are awesome thanks so much for your support. If this video gets 10k likes I’ll post a picture of where I’m headed to get a look at the Evo’s we didn’t get in the states!
Your awesome bro learning alot about cars from you🧐🧐🧐🤝
Come fix my evo 7 pleaseeeeee 😢😢
Tell Jack tell 😅😅
Am I being pranked??
Why do we have 5d vision - Jack😂
Ohhh man that moment with Jeff! When the master has told his old apprentice that he has now become the master was just a BEAUTIFUL moment! The young master in Jack is now carrying on his master’s wonderful skillset so this craft may live on. I just LOVE these kinds of stories.
Love seeing a professional tradie fixing a car, rather than some hack jobs you see on the tubes. Keep up the great job.

Freddie is making video
It's always nice to see craftmanship at it's best.
Between this, Mat Armstrong and tavarish we have some real treats of repairs coming along, always informative and interesting to watch 👏🏻
Recently came across Armstrong, and he's doing some amazing work!

Been waiting since yesterday for this... Fully invested in this one Jack. We all know you're not going to disappoint!
One entire day!
Wow! You're so patient!
Looks like it's coming together nicely bud😊
That change was night and day compared with the last repair, absolutely amazing jack
I know it’s more work but it’ll be so much more rewarding when it’s complete. I can’t wait to see the final product.
Always great see a car fixed the right way from a passionate car guy.👍👍👍 Jack “The rust ripper”😅😅
This is turning out to be one of my favorite channels to look out for new videos.. This project will be a success, because of your hard work and determination to make it look like it did when it was new.. Your skills keep you above the rest of the youtube world who also do this.
I have no desire to ever do anything like this, but I could watch this all day.
Textbook definition of a labour of love, right there.
My comment colleagues has said enough. You are doing the best Jack to bring the EVO back to its origin ❤
Been following since the beginning… so cool seeing you manhandle this thing. Can’t wait for the finish! Save me a seat!
Love how your channel is more body work focused because it’s your specialty! You’re definitely one of the best!
Damn that is some QUALITY repairs. No one will see behind put the touches give more life.
Your skill level is astounding and the way you explain things is amazing keep up the amazing builds .
Jack this channel is going to grow exponentially!
You have no idea how much we have been enjoying this series.
Absolutely incredible to watch

Jack doing what he does best in his own car. Gj with the video, amazing too.
NOTIFIED!!! But I was in a meeting! I was irrationally rushing the meeting just so I CAN FINALLY WATCH! I LOVE this restoration project!
Jack and Tavarish are a dream team!!!
Jack out hearing doing Gods work! The level of detail is what makes this repair next level. Love that this is all being done to an Evo overall!
It's so nice to see someone doing work like this who genuinely knows what they are doing and shows all their work and explanations it all. Like I actually feel like I have learned something after watching this. Keep up the good work man 👍
Freddy, Jack when is this car goner be done? why are you still milking it! 😂😂😂 take all the time you need jack we are all loving this build! 👍
The mark of a true craftsman is someone who cares about the parts that most will never see. Well done jack, great work and super content.
Dr. Jack the surgeon! Insane skills and the attention to detail. I really enjoy the explaining of what you're doing and why you're doing it.
This series is actually pretty decent at showing all the steps and procedures involved in changing a quarter panel. You make it look so easy but I can only imagine how difficult and years of expertise come together.
There are few things better than watching a master of his craft work. You make it look easy, but I know it's nowhere close to easy!
Tavarish as camera guy is hilarious!
Gotta say, by the end of this the Evo is going to look even better than how it looked the day it rolled off of the factory floor. You're doing good work Jack, looking forward to seeing how this progresses!

Loving jack’s attention to detail 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏☝️☝️☝️
You have mad skills. Your attention to detail is going to be a different maker. The spot welds look much better than plug welds. Great job!

Jack, you're the man. This build is gonna be so clean.
This man is an artist. I've seen a lot of professional body repairs, but his attention on detail is just unreal.
This is how repairs should be done ! Probably the only content i look forward to watching on youtube now, as you show everything you do and don’t take any short cuts ! keep up the amazing work 🎉
And that's how it's done guys properly,Jack is a genius 👏.
Keep the great content coming 👌
Bummed I had to work late last night and couldn't watch this until today. Super stoked on this restoration.
Don't know what I'd do without getting my TH-cam fix without guys like you. Keep going man👍
I appreciate your narration over your time lapse shots...also lol Hack Builds It
Holy crap, I remember Jeff from back when he had the Evo 8. Used to see him all the time at OSW when I used to take my SRT-4 out there in the early 2000's. Very friendly guy!
good technicians are one thing but good body people are another level of artistry

I like an Evo, the manager at my local fiat dealer used to drive one which I always thought odd, I thought he should have had an Alfa.
The level of OCD is amazing , top marks m8

Loving the detail in this series. Cheers for sharing Jack. Loving the progress.
It makes me so happy seeing such an iconic car being saved. It'll also be better than factory cuz you care way more than the robot who built it. Even though you got a mini assist from a robot on those welds haha.

Great representation on why some body shops charge you a lot for work. The ones that do great work deserve it.
