I had a pair of their older similar model and loved them. Since switched to the crossfire 3 TA's and have to say they are worth the extra weight and money. Great review as always 👍

Great review that answered a lot of my questions. I am in search of a let's say entry level boot (pricewise) and I am between this one and Forma Terrain Evo TX. The Forma has the hinge though. Pricewise they are close at the moment near me. Do you have any opinion on the quality, protection and fit of the Forma boots as opposed to the Gaerne ones? the nested system hole 2:32 is it though the plastic? I mean when dirt come in, is it easy to clean or it will pile up between plastic and inner layer?

I have the Evo style without the welt sole best boots I've worn battered the life out of them for 2 years and they are still really good

How do these compare with the forma terrain tx? Which one is the best boot?
The Terrain is a step up because of the mechanical hinge, but it is a close race between the two.

There is a hole below also for dirt to fall out.
