Ugh. We've seen terrible scripts greenlit for Star Trek and Star Wars franchises dozens of times over the decades, so you can't even limit this to game industry, but yeah, "this hurts you." Honestly just got PS4 and a dozen games, many of these AAA shits are just losing me. Even with a shit script and bad characterization, I could play this lemon game if it wasn't a bloated wannabe open world mess.
its ridiculous that this game was allowed to come out like this. You'd think the money lost from a souring of the franchise and lost sales of the actual game would be enough for someone at EA to go, "Just delay this game another 2-3 years until its good or at least fun."
After the first major update, this game is solid. Involving. I like it. Too bad the vanilla disk of the game does not feel complete. I would not play it vanilla. Love/hate opinion.
I was more disappointed by the game mag and online review sites piling on the hate because some glitchy graphics issues, then the actual game itself which was totally fun and got even better when the superfical shite was fixed within 2 weeks of release.
