Vedic Scholar and Astrologer, Pandit Sanjay Rath was born in Orissa, India. He comes from a traditional family of astrologers, from Bira Balabhadrapur Sasan village in Puri - a lineage that can be traced back to Shri Achyuta Das/Achyutanada, the 16th century polymath and Vedic scholar. Sanjay Rath became a graduate of mechanical engineering and joined the Government of India in July 1991. He was promoted to Under Secretary in the Ministry of Defence in October 1997. In September 2000, he chose to resign from government service to focus on Vedanga Jyotisha.
Since then he has authored many widely acclaimed books on the subject and founded a fully-fledged astrological school that focuses on the teachings of sage Parasara (Parasara Hora Sastra) and the Jaimini Sutras of the Maha rishi Jaimini. Sanjay Rath has spoken all over the world and appears annually as a Keynote Speaker at the British Association of Vedic Astrology. My AK(Saturn) is in 11th house. I agree completely, i have been struggling with the idea of happiness and fulfillment and have come to a point that i want to renounce that pursuit itself. There are many other things to care about in life, that keep me balanced-and that is my fulfillment and sanity.

OTHER planets All Debilitated Does These Planets makes me Good Student Of Astrology OneDay
11:14 - In your chart atmakarak is in 11th house and because 4th house is 6th to it, you don't want to live in your home. But in my chart also it is on the same position and I am a homesick.
My AK is 12th...so 5th and 7th are the houses AK doesn't like. But I had both... marriage and children.

Wonderful video. In 38:30 of this clip, Rahu in Taurus and Ketu in Leo represents immortality (no incarnation, no karma further).
However wonderful point on Jupiter aspecting house lorded by Ak(Rashi Dristi) then Shiva blesses. If Mercury aspects then Vishnu blesses. Out of 2 houses lorded by Ak, take the powerful one(with planet or aspect)

I have read your books also, ant books are also amazing. I am teacher but I have studied astrology in deep. I have also knowledge of Char DASH AND Narayan Dash. You are mastery in these Dasa. I get confused in these Dasa but some what I am successed to find out pin point of event happaning like as marriage, child birth als. I SALUTE you>

Loved the tropical sidereal question, but not for any sectarian or ideological reason because this subject is to sacred , and yes the contrasts are extreme, and yet whatever view we choice to accept has at the very least attuned us to the seven core spiritual influences upon a soul....the meditation of contemplation of which will surely open us to that essence which does not come and go, that is not egocentrically obsessed with one good or bad karma.....namaste and thank you master teacher
This is amazing. I am learning so much from Sanjay ji. All my reverence and respect. However the point where he says David Carmen should not have opened the can of worms of the 12th house of foreign dealings where the Atmakarka rules, I shudder because it was his souls disposition to do it. If he is being hammered by an action internally, to do it or not, the action is also in the chart. This is my biggest issue with Astrology that we say we should not have done this, looking at a chart retroactively or suggest some predictive mechanism but the energy will manifest when the time and dasha aligns. So Sanjay ji is saying to be buttered finger when it comes to Atmakarka, but that is what is strongest in us and directing us. It's not that we can or cannot make a mess of it. We have to do what The atmakarka is asking one to do.
I have my atmakaraka moon in Scorpio but aspected by Jupiter and sun in Taurus,I don't have any suffering,rather I feel I am spiritual

Am a just born in this field,but my life observation about my moon in gandanta at 28°59'59" has given me complete transformation, when the mahadasa of moon started,my sadesati also started,went through health problems for the first few yrs ,but the same moon introduced me into the path of pranic healing where I got my guru Master Choa kok Sui,became an arhatic, learning astrology so what I feel is when moon the atmakaraka is in gandanta it gives you the path of spirituality.

My 7th and 2nd house is ruled by Mars and its my Atmakarak and it is placed in 2ndd house in sign of scorpio ..I always listen to my brothers i have 2 of them
i am the middle child
Also it is my 7th lord ..and atmakarak and also it is retrograde ..
in navamsa its exalted in 10th house
What does it mean . so how to understand this ?
Also 6th house from 2nd( as Atmakark placed here ) house is 7th

In here in the concept of house king.... If planets having 2 house Lordships,
1) we have to look if there is any planets or not??
2) if they both are vacant then look for aspects of Jupiter Mercury and the house Lord....
Which one have more aspects???
3) if that is also similar then we have to look where the house Lord is in even or odd sign.... And if it is in even then we pick odd and odd for even...
