i remember in class my teacher showed this to us for a compar and contrast and we had to listen to it multiple times..oh the kids loved it we always sang to the song it was bliss
LOL That last pig is so freaking metal bro...he framed the remnants of sausage from his fathers body right next to his wife who is feeding her children...Disney is hardcore sometimes, lol
"Who's a Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf" became the rallying cry of the Depression in 1933. The success caught struggling Disney studio by complete surprise. The cartoon was more popular than the main features. Walt hated sequels but the public demanded more of the pigs. Not as successful, Walt as usual was right when he lamented, "You can not top pigs with pigs."
It looks like that wolf is going to have to sit down on a block of ice for about two hours. that's how bad his bottom got burned. but hey, it's still funny. this is my all time favorite story.
0:14 reminds me of the opening music to "The Legend of Zelda". This cartoon was made around 1933 and it was also the cartoon that received an Oscar for the best cartoon and the best song. I've just watch the "Big Bad Wolf" (not the Disney version) over the weekend which was the silent 8mm home movie version from Castle Films and it was kinda weird, but it was originally released as "Little Boy Blue" in 1936 by another Disney animator Ub Iwerks for ComiColor, same year "Three Little Wolves" was released. I've noticed halfway into the lamb dancing sequence after Little Bo Peep met Little Boy Blue and the Scarecrow and a black lamb goes away, there was a caption card flashed on the screen that says "Who Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?" with the Castle Films logo on the right. WTF??? Castle Films stole the title of a song from Disney, wow! That must be the most insane moment in history, the plot doesn't followed the whole storytime to well. Castle Films was a bunch of weasels for using texts flashes on the screen. What a joke!
In my opinion, this is the most-easy-to-remember movie classic, due to his short lenght. Whenever I hear its music, the scenes pop out on my head, a contrary of Psycho, to which I know its shower scene music but I don´t know the scene itself very much.
From a modern perspective, this old cartoon from the 1930s is rather charming in an old-fashioned way. It’s a rather straightforward adaptation of the original story with fluid animation and a catchy tune. Back in 1933 though, The Three Little Pigs was effectively the Toy Story of its time. Chuck Jones, who you may remember for his work on the Looney Tunes shorts had this to say about The Three Little Pigs: “That was the first time that anybody brought characters to life in an animated cartoon. They were three characters who looked alike and acted differently.”
+WibblyWobblyTimeyWimey It's even worse for cats, they're always the villains and they're on OUR side, without cats we'd be overrun with disease from rats and mice and other rodents.
Minute 6:10 The wolf seems like a jewish! Walt Disney hated jewish people,so..I think that that short film is to joke about one hungry and liar jewish trying to swindle and "eat" 3 inocent people.
3:19 Big Bad: OPEN THE DOOR AND LET ME IN!!! Fifer: Not By The Hair Of My Chinny Chin Chin! Big Bad: I’ll Huff And I’ll Puff And I’ll Blow Your House In!
I remember seeing this so long ago and I cried watching it again
They used to have little compilations of silly symphonies on Netflix.
😂
This is one of my favorite stories. It explained to be that you had to work had to get what you want.
Captain Robotz 2nd Channel $$$..

I love watching this. There's something so comforting about Walt Disney 1930s.
It's the art and dedication it took to draw and make it, in my opinion.
Yeah it's these little things like the father on the wall that make it so great and well thought through
petra chase i think its the fact that they were "first" to do many things and so its just more original in a way. Also nostalgic
petra chase the after
That’s called nostalgia
found my entire childhood in my moms playlists🤧this was the one of the only ones still available
This is about as classic as it gets.
I just love how sound effects in the old cartoons were done with musical instruments

The wolf had a fair set of lungs on him.
I guess you'll get that when your father is the North Wind :)
Best version of The Three Little Pigs, ever. Luv the brick piano.
Brings me back to my childhood 💕

It's gonna be it again when this new economy collapse happens.

This brings back so many memories with my brother. Love you Jesse!
Thanks so much for posting this! I remember watching this when I was little and seeing it now brings back so many memories!
I used to do nothing but watch this when I was little, it's still awesome!
The Wolf is one of the best designs to ever come out of the Disney studio, be it a short or a feature.
This bring so much child hold memories 😢😊 I use to watch this so much and this is the only think I watched ❤️❤️
yoOO
I had this on my Sister's very old VHS tape, and they showed the scene where the wolf dressed as the brush man, had no mask.
I now have “Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf” engraved in my head.

Man hand drawn animation is awesome they need to make more of it
7:30 That photo of their Father on the wall LMAO!

The wolf's reaction to getting burned is hysterically cute!
It looks like that wolf is going to have to sit down on a block of ice for about two hours. that's how bad his bottom got burned. but hey, it's still funny. this is my all time favorite story.

Father is sausage and the uncle is a football. Haha!
besteversaw
Wouldn’t that make their uncle a bull?
And THAT'S how you make a great cartoon for children :)
4:34 - Hey, the wolf's tail disappeared!
MonitaLeaf12 holy shit
It was probably an animation error.
You know wolves can hide their tails idiots
Animation errors

I'll say this for the wolf, he has quite a set of lungs the way he blows the first two houses in!
I'm the poor brush man. I work me way through college.
I'm the wandering Jew who means you no harm.
That scene was later removed because it was anti-semetic.
THAT'S GOOD MOVIE

Poor wolf :( he was only doing what all wolves do.
+WibblyWobblyTimeyWimey It's even worse for cats, they're always the villains and they're on OUR side, without cats we'd be overrun with disease from rats and mice and other rodents.

I have a soft spot for old Disney cartoons
Also he put Turpentine in the soup?? Suspicious!!
Yes, I Like His Original Films Too And Walt Disney Did A Great Job Making This Silly Symphony - The Three Little Pigs! A Big Thumbs Up For His Work!
Moral of the story: if you are poor and don't have a rich friend you die.
"You Can Play And Laugh And Fiddle Don't Think Me Sore I'll Be Safe And You'll Be Sorry When The Wolf Comes To You're Door"
Note the picture of "Father" in the brick house!
This was so amazing
5:55 "FATHER" ... Problem ?
I really like it this kind of video, old but clear compare to the revised new which is so colorful.Very nostalgic considering my age.
this is the ancestor of all cartoon
The moral of the story is, mess and around and have fun and let some square do all the work then reap the benefits with them when they're finished.
A time when cartoons actually taught lessons! Now we have Spongebob.
You need to learn more about cartoons.
Spongebob used to teach lessons, but after the Spongebob Movie in 2004, they've gotten new writers and the show has been terrible since.
Go watch Squidville and Grandma's Kisses. Tell me those don't teach any lessons.
no. this is patrick

B5 got their number one hit who's afraid of the big bad wolf, from this
This is some serious Mandela Effect shit.
ViperChief117 yes i remember this as "down" not in. some awesome trippy stuff
When you see the inside of stick house pig's house, it looks huge. But when you look on the outside, it is so small. Even when the wolf blows it down.
SuperSpyMario Stick Tardis. Maybe the second pig is not so lazy after all.
mind trick. the third pig is so smart, he can create a space like the tent in harry potter without magic.
can anyone explain why he is pouring turpentine in the kettle?
It stings and burns horribly, damages the lungs and central nervous system if inhaled, and causes renal failure if ingested.
Crystal T
Guess that the wolf isnt making any kids now is he? o.o
I'd dont think hes making much of anything o__o
TigersLover1123 www.toonopedia.com/lilbad.htm
He has one.
What I want to know is why does he need so much turpentine in his home?
3:57 Big Bad: Curses!…(Then He Smiles And Has A Sneaky Idea)…Well, Their Too Smart For Me Guess I’ll Go Home!
awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww that was so cute and the part when they sang and blowed there tongues
Are you saying on 2:50, where they were mimicking BB guns?

Are the 1st two pigs sailor Uniforms and the 3rd's farmer/workman clothes supposed to have a symbolic significance?
Nathan Schubert Possibly, after all, this was during the World War I -- World War II era.
Kate daniels
Nathan Schubert nice
0:30 “I build my house of straw”
0:49 “I build my house of twigs”
1:07 “I have no chance to sing and dance while work and don’t mix”
2:53 Pigs: Who’s afraid of the big bad Wolf?
Me: You are pigs 😂
They banned this from America....
No they didn't...
They wont show it, it just says "Banned in this country"
Probably due to copyright by disney.. It's never been officially banned
Why would they?
idk
The house of bricks was too strong for the wolf. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't blow the house down.
The painting on the wall of the piggy with brick house (7.57)"Father = sausage" hahahahahha!!!!
they got big butts
what a cool show
Minute 6:10
The wolf seems like a jewish!
Walt Disney hated jewish people,so..I think that that short film is to joke about one hungry and liar jewish trying to swindle and "eat" 3 inocent people.
Michael Eisner was Jewish and destroyed Disney Co. so Walt was actually right.
Ashley Tisdale was also Jewish but is a pretty-looking G-I-R-L. Tisdale was born in 1985 (the same year as me).
Brandon Reina Natalie Portman is from Israel and she is pretty too.
MEC MEC expect Paul Reubens is jewish!
If that were true he wouldn't have hired Joe Grant and the Shermann Brothers.
I like this old cartoon I remember watching when I was a kid
f#####
I love it.
Omg!! @ 2.50 what a cute expression on earth. Seriously
Too cute!
Absolutely Piggytastic
