I hope we do. Last year we were up 3 scores to the 49ers in the NFC championship game and they came back and won. Josh Reynolds had a couple huge blatant drops. Vildor was absolutely horrendous at CB, so we upgraded that. Gibbs also had a fumble. There were a few mistakes. MDCD had a couple bad decisions, but we are such a better team than last year. Look what we're doing with 18 players/starters on IR, which is the most in the NFL. Also, if we make it to the Superbowl Hutch will be back, Anzalone is gonna be back for the start of the playoffs. I think Iffy will be ready. Decker, Legit, Paschal, and Reader will be back. Mosely hasn't even got to play yet. I thought he was gonna back last night, but I guess not. Also, Jamo has come into his own and we're just better. Last night it looked like St. Brown kinda tweaked his leg on his first catch and I think all of players just need a long break, which we have now. We literally just played 3 games in 11 days and won all of them, but that takes a toll on you. I think we're gonna be just fine. All the players we picked up stepped up and our staff had a way of bringing in straight dogs that are ready to play their heart out and go hard. It's crazy that Hutch still is like in the top 15 in sacks in the NFL at 7.5. Zadarius Smith has 8 om the year and 3 since being with us, so he's contributing. Hutch had 7.5 sacks in the first few games. Max Crosby currently has 7.5 sacks on the Season and he's still playing. Also, has more than Nick Bosa, Harold Landry, Micah Parsons, Josh Hines-Allen, Arden Key, and Brian Burns. There's a bunch of other notible edge rushers that have played all season and still don't have the amount of sacks that Hutch has or Zadarius has. If Hutch didn't get hurt he woulda won Defensive Player of the Year. No doubt about that at all bi think he woulda broke the sack record. It would be amazing to get him back in the playoffs and if we make it that far he will.
@@andrewsallee3060 Reynolds was huge in the playoffs but did drop a couple of real important balls but i think Tim Patrick had been a great addition and is a better blocker and more reliable than Josh was and Gibbs is hitting it out of the park with 20 tds Jamo with 1,001 yds on exactly half the rec that St Brown has and Laporta heating up and Anzalone playing like a man on a mission last night the entire defense stood on business last night and its hard for me to imagine but these guys can beat anyone and i hope they keep the foot on the petal and destroy everyone, did you hear what Dan said to Kevin Oconnell after the game??? He said "good game see you again in two weeks" there is a strong possibility we have to play the Vikings again
Agreed. I don't think I've seen a RB that can make moves at full speed and keep his balance and speed like Gibbs either. His route running as a reciever is crazy good too. Dude is special and I'm soooooo glad my Lions drafted him.
Gibbs is so sweet and smooth. Glad he is a detroit lions. One thing about this kid is he is very humble. The entire team is pretty humble under Dans coaching. They play as one team. Glad i was finally able to see my team win number 1 seed in the nfc. This year will be my 30th season watching . Hope we win the superbowl this year . Lets go lions
All the haters that were dogging Brad and Dan for picking Gibbs 1st when we really were fine at RB but they took the best available player and what a gem this kid is!! Team guy who everyone likes and man im glad he is a Lion
Str8 up good pick! I'm a Falcons fan. We pretty much had the same situation, our rookie had 1000 yards the year before, n we still drafted Bijan top 10. 😂. Now it looks like Gibbs n Bijan got next. 💪🏿
2:53 being able to secure the catch on the run like that without losing even half a step is something you dont see from many running backs. Little things like that is what makes certain backs special.
I was so pumped when signed Monty instead of Jamaal. Monty is literally like a mix between Jamaal and Swift. He's powerful like Jamaal and still elusive like Swift. Major upgrade. I wasn't expecting that we'd draft Gibbs, but I was so damn pumped up. I loved Gibbs in college and thought he was the more talented back over Bijon. Gibbs came in and just took over. We have the best running back duo in the league, and I love how close they are off the field as well. Gibbs, Monty, Jamo, St. Brown, LaPorta, and now Tim Patrick has become a legit target. I absolutely love our team. I rooted just as hard for the Lions when I was growing up and thru the 0-16 year. I absolutely love Detroit. Bron and raised in the area and it sucks seeing so many bandwagons come out now that we're doing something special. It takes away from us real die hards that we're there from the dark days till now, and if we ever go back to those days I'm not gonna be going anywhere, but all these bandwagons won't stay around when that happens. Also, the fact that we have the most people/starters on IR out of any team in the league and the next man up is killing it. The key to success is having a great front office and building thru the draft. It's truly amazing to see what has unfolded over the last few years. Sorry I'm a little buzzed and just rambling so I'm gonna go lol.
The bandwagon jumpers, ain't worse than the people, that want the our Lions to lose. I mean, I have been reading some nasty comments, about the people wanting the Lions to come up short.

Bro is trying to score on every play. Absolutely love that

I’m a Packer fan, but he’s definitely my favorite non-Packer player in the NFL. So fun to watch.
Would love if you’d subscribe to help get me to 4K Subscribers! It would be very appreciated!
The plays where he blows by defenders who have a dead to rights angle on him are the most exciting plays from Gibbs.
Hope you enjoyed the video and would subscribe to help me reach my goal of 4K subs

He's terrifying coming out of the backfield on swings and screens a big reason why the Lions offense is so good
