Great video, and having the keys on screen to showcase it will help a TON with people understanding.
Also I appreciate the credit brother❤
"Looks cool, and more fun to play", yea I feel like thats the whole point of this game's combat. You can beat DmC just fine by button mashing, but if u want to have some fun n do some unnecessary combos for style points, u can.
You get it.
In fact you can't defeat many enemies doing that, only the ones in the story, clearly you haven't played it.
I saw the video that first introduce this thing and experimented a little bit on my own:
- You really only need to do [dodge > attack > switch] really fast. The last attack can be done when the parry animation is taking place.
- Something I have done to make the process easier is that I map my E key to attack in supplement of my left click (It will not let you do that at first because the E key is mapped as a menu button. Find it and change it to be able to map it to your attack button). I mapped my special attack to right-click, but you can just map the attack button to R instead. It will ease the first 3 quick keystrokes you have to do.
You now only need to press [shift > E > space] to trigger the parry and the dodge attack. Finish it with a left click to counter the attack you parried.
It's easy to do because it's all in the same direction on the hand. And you can cord it very easily, pressing them almost at the same time.
day by day, more newer broken combos come up
And no where to use them 😢
@@rhezer fr, im broke and unable to roll any further 🥲
Yep, I've seen from awhile back. The problem is that this is as you said very timing specific -- and the timing varies per situation. The biggest problem with this is usually if you fail, you end up dodging instead of parry swapping, which leaves your current character still active. In most situations, dodging will always be worse than parrying.
Normally: just parry -> profit.
Try-hard: if you're perfect, you profit doubly. But usually, you will fail -> and lose.
Yup.
It's a cool tech but it won't be as much of a game changer as prioritzing quick swap combos. Better to just play it safe (build daze reliably) cause the reward to risk ratio is not worth the small dps increase.
The risk vs reward decision is cool. Not mentions rewards player skill.
@@wits_end. Or, for the sweats, practice the timings on all enemies until it becomes muscle memory. Honestly, I can see these small time saves being life savers for f2p players and small spenders, because it already happened to me a couple of times to not get a perfect score just for a handful of seconds, and in cases like that having small time saves like these can make a difference
This tech just makes you play worse tbf
@@brodericksiz625 Alot of the big dmg fast clear videos are more focused on anamoly build up. Assault + Disorder Piper, for example, makes Dodge Parry Assist very not worth to risk over at all in the grand scheme of things.
There is other stronger playstyles like Lucy hypercarry with her special and ult nukes which that are easier and alot more rewarding.
I wouldn't take the time to learn all the DP assist timings.. it's really not worth to sweat over it. Just optimize your team setups and take advantage of the elemental applications. Know how to trigger switch ins quickly after building daze and when to use your stun/support/defense characters optimally.
In boss fights, you'll want to be on your main dps for majority of the time. Unless you have a very certain setup you want to run with, your supports shouldn't be taking much time on field.
TLDR; Don't sweat over DP assist. There is alot more things worth focusing on that is less risky then this one tech that has much lower rewards.
We not only need an infinite parry toggle, but also an infinite Decibel toggle.
I'd also like bosses in practice mode, to study their movesets
@@brodericksiz625 I think the bosses will automatically unlocked on challenge mode after u finish story chapter. That's a good place to practice
this tech is so cool, can't wait to start using it
Iove when flashy stuff also means more damage
I can't unhear how Eleven / Lucy are very tight and that this is the DP assist. Bruh!
AYO
Can confirm
Great video. I've mastered this tech and haven't noticed a significant DPS increase in Shiyu Critical yet, however this tech is amazing for Hollow Zero, because all of the resonia you can find that buff Perfect Dodge & Perfect Assist. After mastering this I find that I am constantly placed in Intuition/bullet time mode, because it counts as both.
1:32 is the actual explanation:
Dodge, Attack, Parry, Attack
RMB, LMB, Space, LMB
A, X, RB, X
At the very least add a reset button to the practice mode. Make everything a lot easier and quicker
Oh! I was doing this on accident often on controller while parrying and had no idea what it was. More reason to learn it, it looks and feels awesome!
You have a chance to stun or even instant-kill enemies even with invuln and no stun on in free combat. This is usually because they are way lower level than you, so you need to move them up to 10 levels above you and it won't be a concern. I've noticed though, that even with stun off, while they won't get incapacitated, they still seem to go into the 150-200% boosted damage state, which can throw off numbers testing, so in a way to get more accurate numbers you want to keep stun off in order to ensure you're not getting increased damaged due to being in stunned state.
Hey which support W engine is best for Lucy, Piper and Nekomata team? 5 stars B rank Mark II or 3 stars slice of time??
Learning these tricks is kinda fun. It reminds me of the first time I learned Tekken 7, which was my first fighting game.
What in the BBTAG 1.0? Thanks for the dp assist.
i still cant do this. I piano the inputs super fast and I just get a regular parry.
Ben is gonna be your best friend with this tech.
Awesome tech, loving the game so far
wish my laptop was good enough to download the game
ok I actually did not know that amazing
when no assist point left
you can do double dodge counter
may it works with evasive assist characters as well
Really cool !
The standard design for those games don't encourage you and some time block you to have multiples DPS and from what I understand Anomaly type is a DPS too like Attacker but different. Its like genshin when you are a normal DPS around CRIT and a DPS around Elemental Mastery (Reaction DMG). Here we seem to have the same thing.
Plus the fact that one support/defense/stun type is very useful, it left at max 2 slots if not one. So double Attacker seem not reasonable, because the default team is Attacker-Stun-Support, and double Anomaly seems fun but ... who is the 3rd slot ? Stun ? Support ? And it depend of the Core Passive. Really difficult to find out a good synergy (even more when you have not so much character on your account).
I have see the 1.1 characters kit and it bring on the table some new thing that can change the way to do a team (like rare buff/debuff from core passive), especially for Anomaly type where Anomaly mastery is a very rare and precious stat. The theory crafting is really fun on this game, a good surprise for me.
PS: If some leaks are real, Miyabi may come sooner than expected! 😉
Extremely cool, feels great to use as well and isn't even that hard to do, at least in the test stage
Wow, it's actually amazing and looks kind of like switch cancel in WuWa on some characters. Didn't expect the same treatment from ZZZ.
I think I’m doing it wrong is it possible on mobile? Nvm on some characters it’s not possible or near it
i’m curious, who you use to daze on this team? i just my girl soldier
Can you do this on moblie?
Kinda hard, not sure how easily can I use this in actual fights. I've done it in VR practice, buts really hard to pull off for me. Maybe a macro could work
nice video
This trick is way harder on some of the elite mobs seem kinda too niche
try pressing S when doding will make it more consistent
I don't have 11 yet 😞 my team is Piper, Lucy, Koleda. I have Ben but I can't get 'S' with Ben in team. The mission will take longer than 2min with Ben.
3:47 we also need change team
I think we do have what you're talking about. On keyboard standard binding for it is C
Mb its team not character, its late at night so my brain ain't braining anymore
awesome, but can it have a different name from "DP" assist? lmao
3 mins ago is traumatic
We need a tutorial for controllers too please
He's telling you what to do. Dodge, attack, parry, attack. The actions are the same across all platforms you just have to be able to do them fast enough
@@nzungupumu1350But I feel like I'm missing something on controller , it feels harder on controller even tho it should be easier
😸✌️
Is it possible on mobile?
I tried and only got it when I'm deliberately trying to get it, it'll be hard to do in actual combat
For now you should name your channel "Waterman"
me trying to copy this tech on my ipad
Literally me except I'm on mobile
I dont have lucy! She looks so cool and her piggies are cool to watch on screen
rip mobile player cant do this stuff 😅
RIP mobile players
