I was late to find Nujabes. He passed away before I ever found his music. It's felt like hell for me several years now. I happened to come across this song a few months ago, about 2 minutes into it, I found myself crying and I was not even aware. For the 1st time in years, I could cry. I put Jun's music in my life and it put my soul at ease. I can sleep every night now listening to his music working miracles. Jun, wherever you are, rest in paradise. If only the world could see with your eyes...
I don't even know what the singer is saying, but she sounds so beautiful and honest. The lyrics, plus the beat, and instruments makes this song so hypnotizing..
"If certain type of music can inspire us and make us find our inner peace and thus get closer to the higher being, why NOT listen to it?" ^ This is what Nujabes made me realize
All the years I've listened to Nujabes, I felt I could somehow understand him. I felt content no matter what, at any point in time I could listen to Nujabes and everything would be at ease. I've listened to him throughout many different phases of my life until this point, and I don't believe I'll ever stop. Rest in paradise Seba Jun. Your spirit spoke through your music.
Why did the Nujabes have to leave us standing on the platform with tears in our hearts from their soul lifting music such as this, while they board the train with a one way ticket. I didn't know them personally but my ears tell my soul that they knew me and knew me well. This makes me feel as if the world is holding its hand out to help me back up to my feet and dust the dirt from my clothes from failed attempts at life. They've helped me more than they will ever know
All honesty. Yesterday I ate some weed cookies i and i was high for the first time in a couple months. I listened to this song legit like 7 times. I cooked dinner for the family and then I went to my room and started working on my artwork. Nujabes actually gave my soul peace that I ended up reading the Bible for a little bit as well. R.I.P Nujabes and many blessings to your family.
I finally understand it. I've listened to this song for about 2 and a half years for what has to have been hundreds of times. There are nights when I put my MP3 player on repeat with this song on, and fall asleep listening to it, over and over, trying to describe it. I finally found the word for it: overwhelming.
ive only know about you for like a day nujabes but you are something out of this universe, i wish i could still smoke to puff a few to these masterpieces you have created, you will forever RIP in my book, THE GOOD DIE YOUNG
Nujabes is ingenious in that he incorporates seasonality into his music. Hydeout Productions 2nd Collection was released as autumn was transitioning to winter. All of the songs in this album reflect the changing on the seasons, especially with After Hanabi capping the new year. Imaginary Folklore is my fav off this album. it's incredibly reflective. the tone of the song is so somber in the beginning but progresses into a state of everything will be okay. thanks Nujabes.
This is such a beautiful song. I could listen to it for hours and never get bored. His music was heavenly and beyond this world...And I have the urge to cry so hard while listening to this song. It is weird because a lot of us who loved his music are now just learning Nujabes died...and it is sad that I am late to realizing how amazing he was. But they say it is only in death you find true fame. And I believe that because now he is playing his music for God and whose fame would you want more?
I don't think they meant they need weed in order to enjoy Nujabes. I feel like it's just the concept that when you put two awesome things together you get even more awesomeness. We all know we don't need drugs to enjoy beautiful music. It's just another way of doing things. Much love to you sir and all the Nujabes fans out there! May he live on in our ears and our freakin souls forever
i luv the nujabes it makes me feel better nujabes music gives me hope. when i broke my femur i thought i would never play basketball ever again(or atleast be good at it) but tyen i started listening to this powerful music. it gave me the strenth to work harder than ever and my aau team won every single game. and now i hav a spot on varsity and im only a freshman
This song will always and forever will be my favorite nujabes song. When it's my time to go and they put me in the ground I want this song to be played so that my soul can literally be still and calm in my own personal heaven.
wow when i first found out it felt like a real friend had passed. i can honestly say i dont think i'll ever feel this way with any other artist/band.. my girlfriend couldnt believe how gutted i was.. Tragic. i was looking forward to growing old to his music.. Rest In Peace Jun Seba
I must be honest and say that I did know anything about Nujabes until just recently, but wow...what a sad ending for an artist with so much talent. I have only heard a couple of his songs but I'm astonished by how touched I'm by them. Rip
Wow. That sounds interesting, but like a good experience. I remember i used to listen to Nujabes a lot, errr, I had to do a lot of working though, so over time i had forgotten about his music. Though his spirit has always been around me apparently, haha. I'm surprised, it was like Nujabes was always in my conscious, trying to brighten the days. I heard: "Laa.....la.lalala laaah" repeating in my head, whenever i had a bad day. *shrugs*
@HippieRockerJohn57 this just broke me down. i followed Nujabes for some years and his music was just always there for me. just went through a bad break up and have been blasting his music since. i can feel his emotions and it helps bring out mine. i didnt cry until i read your comment and listened to this song.
I didn't expect to get a top comment. Thankyou guys! I hope that I helped someone that was in pain in life. I actually came back to listen to this. Life has gotten alot better since. I am at peace, and everynow and again I still cry to this, but not tears of sadness, but of joy. Again thankyou all. Even if it was just a youtube comment, I got support from you guys. So peace out and enjoy this beautiful masterpiece. May you find the eternal happiness we all strive to find in life! Take care!
I was at a gym where i go to , and i can swear to god that i heard this song on somewhere there. I was like ''omg im not the only one in the world who listens to nujabes'' i was happy :')
If all the beauty in the world were a song, I think that this would be it. Eargasm =p Thanks for the upload. It's always a pleasure listening to Nujabes!!
I feel sad but also fulfilled when hearing this song, very sad, it l sends this very distinct message of loss... but that it's not the end of the world...
@AllYourBase29 thats there thing with nujabes - after listening to his music you a changed person afterwards no matter what, thats why we love him because not many people can have that affect on people. RiP real for ever..........
This makes me feel better after having a crappy year...Losing my Granny, Uncle, being diagnoisd with diabetes at age 21...all in the span of few months...nujabes, fat jon, five deez, nomak....their music is like sex for my ears....releaves stress...its just touches you in a very special way....

^ This is what Nujabes made me realize
reminds me of the early days of my teenage life. *sigh* only felt like yesterday when I use to blast this music 24/7.
How’s life
