RIP
Big Kev from a Barnsley fan
Nice touch there nick 👏 r.i.p SUPER KEVIN CAMPBELL 💙💙💙
REST IN PEACE
SUPER KEVIN CAMPBELL
Condolences for Kevin Campbell. A great human being he was. Only six months left I read for the construction also. Great work Nick, even though I am a Red, I still watch your mini flicks.
A sad week for football Rip Kevin Campbell and Matija Sarkic and prayers are with Alan Hansen and his family
And Frank D’Arcy 💙
A sad week in the passing of The amazing Kevin Campbell and Frank D'Arcy also Matija Sarkic.May they rest in peace. Nick great video as usual. I didn't really notice a reduction of quality in this latest video. Any idea what the solar panels will be used to power when they are fully installed.
RIP KEVIN, Your up there in the BLUE SKY WATCHING DOWN ON YOUR NEW STADIUM, Great vid Nick
RIP Kevin Campbell. Too young. Not been here for a while so I can really see the progress. Truly a 21st Century football stadium. I hope I get to see a game there sometime.
Mellow and sombre, a fitting reflection at the passing of Kevin Campbell.
Lovely touch Nick RIP Super Kev 💙
The endless amounts of your time that you have spent documenting BMD for all of us (the vast majority who you’ll never even meet) has been immense Nick! I’ve watched every single video, and enjoyed every minute. As we near the end of this awesome stadium build, I just wanted to say thank you. Hope to see you at BMD one day. COYB! 💙 Teddy
Wow Teddy this is so generous of you. Thank you so much you really have made my day with this generosity. It’s appreciation like this and all of the comments that keep me going! Thanks again 🙏
Rest well super Kev. Forever in our blue hearts
That barrel cladding on the east stand should be finished over the next week or two. Can't wait to see it done 👌🏻
Greetings from Georgia Nick, thanks for the full fly around it's looking more spectacular than I thought it would. RIP to an Everton Icon Kevin Campbell, I have been amazed at the countrywide outpouring of love and respect for this wonderful man. I hope you got my pictures of my Everton flag flying proudly in Georgia.
Nice to see the landscaping taking shape. Shocked and saddened to hear about Kevin Campbell
Another great video Nick,, RIP KEV TRUE BLUE 😢 UTFT
Nice one, Nick. Kevin Campbell was a great player and even greater person and even though Arsenal was likely his first love, no doubt in my mind he had a special place in his heart for Everton. He will be missed. 🙏 💙
Every time I watch these full fly arounds, it just tells you how far the stadium has come from a pile of dirt to a majestic gem on the docks, I really enjoy the gaps being filled in every week! great video Nick!
R. I. P. super kev from AB celtic supporter.
Nice touch about Kevin Nick, your flight video was amazing too .
Lovely tribute for Super Kev!
Nice touch with the intro Nick, RIP Super Kevin Campbell x
RIP SUPER KEVIN 😞🙏🏻🔴⚪
Hi Nick, great vid as usual. In your vid 10 mins 40 secs, you can see the dock wall exposed in front of south stand where they are laying ducts. It would be a great feature if they could leave this exposed, but it would probably be a safety issue for the players.
It was a shock to learn about Kevin Campbell’s passing. RIP mate.
Thanks Nick really good fly around, can’t believe it will be competed in just 6 months time. Keep up the great work you are doing :) RIP Super Kev
Cracking video lad
RIP Kevin😢❤
Nice to have a sunny day for a fly around and a clear update for us Nick, thanks👍
It just gets better and better every fly around. She is so beautiful. RIP Kevin Campbell, thoughts and prayers for his family. Best wishes, Graeme from Portsmouth. Play Up Pompey.
Another class comment, Graeme 💙
Excellent video nick . Super kev rip thanks for the memories !
Tis looking good! Rip Kevin Campbell
Great video again and lovely picture of Super Kev, really sad for his family and everyone that new him, RIP UTFT.
Great video Nick as always thanks for your comments on Kevin's passing he was a real great player my thoughts are for the family he has left behind
RIP Kevin Campbell - what an absolute shocker - Gone far too soon... Nice Video - The pump house is looking incredible too from when you think state of it at beginning of project
Nice touch Nick excellent video, Rip Super Kev still can't believe your gone 💔👊💪⚽ 💙
Yeah, agree with all the comments. Nice touch, Nick. Super Kev was a great man who'll be sadly missed by Everton, Arsenal, West Brom, Cardiff and Forest fans, of which I am one who had the pleasure of watching him play for Forest at the City Ground as a lad and chat about all things football with in the last couple of years. Still devastated. RIP Kevin.
Thanks Nick.. nice touch for super Kev..
When you’re coming down the road towards it.. it looks like a space ship on top of a brick.. from a distance
Hi rio Kevin Campbell such shame flight jet video was amazing to. Love these weekly videos .
RIP Super Kev. 🙏🙏💙💙
The stadium is looking absolutely stunning. The club reckon the east stand barrel cladding will be completed by the end of this month, and the west stand barrel cladding completed by the end of July. They also think all seats will be in by the end of June. Will look even more stunning when all barrel cladding and seats are finished.
Great video by the way, Nick, and looking forward to your interior videos of the stadium.
Lovely to remember Kevin, Nice touch Nick. Great tour around the stadium and being able to take in all the amazing details of the whole project. Fantastic Work As Always Nick 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🫶
I’m impressed with the new drone, mate. I think the colours look more natural along with the picture looking super smart and smooth. Better on the eye imo. Keep up the good work and congratulations on receiving a new invite to tour the stadium👌🏻
R.I.P. Kevin
Nick, well done on including a respectful nod to Kevin Campbell. It's so sad for those closest to him or even those who had the fortune to know him personally as he seemed a genuinely warm and open person. We were lucky to have him as part of the Blues family.
I gather that several respectful droners have been invited by LoR to the tour and Q&A but that it isn't for a few weeks yet. It might be appropriate to let people know that as the circumstances might have changed considerably by them, with regard to Q&A's.
Points of note from this video content:
1) At 2:07 mins, you can see that the 13 tree pits for the Columnar Elms are now complete, with the lighting/security cameras poles installed amongst them, along the northern perimeter. The 5 tree pits on the other side of the vehicular access, between the Pump House and the ENE facade of the stadium, which will also be a backdrop to the stage area when viewed from the centre of the East Plaza, have also been completed.
2) At 3:12 mins, middle-bottom of the screen, you can see that LoR have started construction of the first (southern) two-tiered blue-tiled benches that will divide the two sloping levels of the East Plaza. You can see the shuttered concrete construction at the base of the first full-height brick facade going northwards from the SE Corner.
3) At 4:20 mins, middle-bottom, you can see that they are starting to dig the area for 3 more tree pits between the SE corner and the South Stand Viewing Gallery overhang.
4) At 4:47 mins, top-centre, you can see that they have installed the first bit of grey coving onto the support struts on the South Stand.
5) At 4:52 mins, you can see that LoR have completed adding the coping stones to the West Terrace brick-facade wall and nearly-all the black fascia panels on the southern end of the 'mezzanine'.
6) At 5:28 and at 5:42 mins, centrally, you can see that they have dug out much more of the water channel area, next to the southern 'Isolation Bridge'.
7) At 5:45 mins, you can see that they have laid about 75% of the concrete along the Seacant wall, which will be under and support the Composite Decking 'pier' area that will project outwards from the Lower Promenade.
8) At 7:10 mins, the new area of tarmac around the northern end of the mezzanine suggests they will be laying the granite setts there soon.
9) At 7:47 mins, I wish they'd complete the remaining 7 concrete protection bases to the black steels, especially as the first one was done months and months ago.
10) At 10:26 mins, the seats laid down on the section above the West Stand Boxes 'patio', at the back/higher area of the Lower Tier, look to be different and worth a closer look.
Nice tribute to Super Kev 👏 that barrel cladding should be finished next week on the East stand
Shocked by the sad news about Kevin Campbell. A nice film for him. Such a shame he won't be visiting.
I got a lovely Father’s Day present , a mr Drone t shirt!
Excellent Dan 👏
Lovely tribute there💙
Epic! Fantastic job Nick. 💙
Yes! The minute it started I thought how amazing the picture looked and how smooth the zoom and movement was. No, I never sussed you were using a new drone. Are you also getting impatient to see it finished at last? And how good will it look at night. Looking forward to walking by when I get to the UK soon, cheers
Ps, the amount of tributes to Kevin Campbell shows what a popular guy he was, RIP
lovely tribute at the beginning and end of your videos mate to Kevin Campbell
Well in Nick , block paving south east now crane moved👍 that areas block work will fly now as will final roof and barrell cladding good weather on way as well
Hey Nick, great video as always. Looks like the have started the infils at the top of the glass on the south stand closest to the west end and quite a few already done on the north end.
It’s looking great Nick! Thanks for keeping up the great work 💥
Hi nick ,everything was spot on in this fly round, music, smooth order of cover so now you have nailed it after 4 years! Hope they let you film the new bars inside to see how far they are progressing
It's good to see there's some stadium contractors in Liverpool actually doing some work
Covered everything there Nick. Well done.
I would have just missed you nick, I called on my way over to cheshire and took some photos, looking very good. Thanks again for video. So good to see more on your footage.
Take care.
Great video as always Nick. I thought I could just about make out the lines on the middle section of the east stand for the premium seating area. It would be good to see that in more detail if possible. Thanks, Matt
That East stand outside area looking a lot less cluttered. Just the barrel roofing and floor stone to finishing by the look of things
I love the quality of it - the music is a bit "Call the Midwife" however 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.
Keep doing what you are doing - also your tribute to Campbell was well done, with a touch of class.
I thought when I was watching how clear it was Nick
Thanks for all the information.
Great video going to look great when finished. What is the next section to be finished would it be the barrel sections. RIP Super Kev
look good thanks four the cool vlogs you do thanks lee
Super Kev !! 💙
One thing that's got me thinking is the entrance and exits from the stands (vomitories I think their called ) . Location wise and depending on where you sit. Think it's gonna be a nightmare getting drinks or anything at half time 😂
Mrdrone I am thick but probably having lived in America for thirty years. Without tears 12:21
Love tour waork, pleases jeep it uup
Hiya Nick. Great footage as always. Can't say I noticed a difference in quality between the Maverick and the Mini 4. Infact the zoom jumps on the Maverick but I'm sure there is a technical reason for that. I'm new to drone flying and I've never edited any footage before. If you could point me in the right direction the edit my footage add music etc, I would appreciate. Keep up the good work. The stadium is looking fantastic. Loved watching the build in it's entirety. Thanks for that 💙
Anyone else missing the shipping container? 😉😂
Thanks Nick
Great touch at the beginning 😢
Question for your Q&A, are all the seats going to remain blue or will there be anything like ‘EFC’, ‘EVERTON’ or the club badge embedded in white seats?
All seats will be blue unless a sponsor wants to pay the club a fortune for their name or logo.
Great video as usual Nick !
Would it be possible to do a circular fly around of the pump house with a close zoom through some of the upper windows just to be nosey to see if you can see what’s going on inside ?!!
Cheers Dave C 👍
I think it would be cool if all the drone guys (that have been invited) can work together to make a mage video to share on all the channels, every person gets a different aspect or perspective and then can collaborate on the questions to make sure the best questions are being answered all together and the laing o rourke fella not having to repeat it for different channels!
Just a thought, great video again though, that new drone definitely is more vivid.
Love the music tracks what are they
That last one was beautifully fitting with the reverse finishing shot
Great video Nick
Does anybody know the reason for those 2 grooves in the roof barrel cladding? just before the vent holes start.
Interesting stadium design. Where abouts would the team bus drop the players off?
It drives up the right hand side, under the stadium, as the strip to the right is borrowed from our neighbours, and will drop players at the mouth of the tunnel, at the back of the stadium.
Yeah - there are two options, depending on the weather. On sunny, calm days, the team bus can drive around to the front on the west plaza terrace (between the steps and the water channel) or, in bad weather, the bus can stop at the northern tunnel entrance, as Darren has posted 👍🏻
@@DuncTheBlue1878 Great info. Thanks guys 👍
Hi Mr drone it's my first ever comment been a fan for years loved watching Annfield Road and new Everton stadium
As I'm an Ipswich town fan and fixtures came out today we play Everton away in May will this be at new stadium or old as I think iv hurd people say 6 months left on build or are they moving at end of next season
Great video as always Nick - question for your tour; apologies if already asked this - is the concrete finish on western terrace 'steps' the final finish or will be paved to match mez bricks etc.? Also - nice touch re Kevin Campbell, RIP and thoughts with his loved ones. 😢
Great video nick, there seems to be new fencing added along the dock wall on the south side, was previously worried about fans falling in the dock, seems there is now new fencing being put in place, looked closer at your video seems to have a design on it. Can you have a closer look either on your visit or by zooming in.
It’s a black fence with Archibald Leitch design. The club have just released a vid on YT showing it close up 👍🏻
th-cam.com/video/sZnwqBmgnkc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=W-sIoKlyv1RJIkN2
👍👍
It looks like there clearing the Terry's timber site, isnt it going to be used as some kind of bus terminus on match days ? I drive up and down that road every day and noticed that other derelict sights are also being cleaned up
Also sad news Frank Darcy RIP
Please can we see the electrics and plumbing inside, among other interesting things inside.
Again amazing stuff, thanks so much
Only the club will show inside footage. From what I hear, there’s a lot still to do inside.
OK thanks.
Hi Nick, great video again mate, I’m looking at buying a drone for my daughter what drone do you use.👍
tOP NOTCH VIDEO AS ALWAYS. tHANKS FOR YOUR EFFORTS.
wHAT'S THE NAME OF THE MUSIC PLEASE?
Were possible Nick can you ask what the dividing 'wall' and/or fence will be between our ground and United Utilies.
Im hopeful its something in keeping with the area and not a generic metal fence.
It’ll be…[drum roll]…a metal fence 😕
R93: as Dunc states, it will be 'generic, which is a shame. But it won't actually be seen by many people really as the eyes will look elsewhere, particularly for those on foot on the ground. At the Eastern end, the trees, stage area, Pump House, Hydraulic Tower and even the vehicle barrier/Security Hut will mask if for the majority. It's the Away Fans who will notice it most, I think. At the western end it will actually allow a bit of an extension of the panorama northwards over Sandon Dock, the Wind Turbine and the red cranes.
RIP Super Kev. Thanks again for another video and the stadium is looking amazing.
Q/A for LO'R and apologies if this has been covered previously but what was the decision around the capactiy of 52888. Is this because of the site its on and does this mean they'll be no future opportunity to exapnd and we couldn't have built it at 60,000 for example ?
With the latest activity of 'all' the billionaires now interested in the club the next 5 -10 years could see a massive growth of the business and the club and have we perhaps been a bit short sighted with the capacity ?
Should be 60,000. There are 34,000 on the season ticket waiting list and only 9,000 of those will be able to buy season tickets at BMD. The club’s board eventually decided that the capacity would be 52,888 back in 2018. They were worried they’d be empty seats if they opted for 60,000, like the Emptyhad. Clearly the wrong decision.
Great video again Nick, the stadium is looking great and I am pleased that you have been invited for a tour. Is it just me or on the original designs for the stadium, the black panels inbetween the brick fascades appear to be a pale grey with an almost window effect in when they are lit. I was wondering if this is a design change or a manufacturer error? The Leach design seems to have also been changed and I was wondering if this is again a Heritage issue?
Alan: it's "just you" I'm afraid. As per spec., the brick facade infills are black and perforated in some places but the panels on the East and West Mansard roof wall structures and the infills at the bases of the outside of the terracing on the concrete rooves of the North and South stands are all dark-grey.
Not quite as clear as the other drone (but still a brilliant video)
Great footage as ever Nick. I am intrigued to know when the floodlights will be installed. Does anyone know or are they cleverly hidden? They hung the screens and PA speakers months ago but there appears to be no sign of floodlights.
Rest In Peace SUPER KEVIN CAMPBELL. Gone way too soon 💔💙
They've already been installed mate I've seen them on a few videos. They aren't attached to the same structure as the PA Speakers there on the walkways what are directly under the roof further back. I don't think they've been tested or anything yet as they don't look like they are all pointing down towards the pitch. It just looks like they've been put in and they'll do all the testing at a later date.
Question: Was there ever a design for the new stadium that would have had a Prince Rupert’s Tower in all four corners of the stadium like the San Siro? Imagine that! 👏 🏟️
Heritage Police wouldn’t allow that, unfortunately
@@DuncTheBlue1878 yeah…I love the stadium we’re getting but that would have been amazing 🤩
I suggested a tower in one corner of the new stadium when they did the fan consultations, shame it couldn’t have been incorporated somehow.
I reckon the traffic control hut on the west plaza should be a mock up of the tower.
@@paulm5718 yeah would have been amazing. @stephencain what a boss idea. I wonder if they should move on from Prince Rupert’s Tower and adopt the pump house tower as the logo on the crest. I know it’d be controversial but the other tower was only brought in in the 1970s if I’m not mistaken 🤔
Nick what is the name of that beautiful tune at 08:48 ? It’s so spiritual and arresting every time I hear it.
RIP Kevin Campbell. A true gentleman taken from us far too soon 😢❤xx
E.M. Phillyaw October 👌🏻👍🏻

Another great video! I've been watching your channel from day1. Quick question but would you have an idea of what security measures will be in place over on the west plaza for accessing united utilities land via the two bridges.
The two bridges don’t go to UU land. The northern boundary perimeter fence will securely separate EFC land from UU’s 👍🏻
@DuncTheBlue1878 cheers for the response Dunc. It looks very accessible at the moment but they'll probably have something in place from people getting onto those bridges
Nathaniel: those bridges are called 'Isolation Bridges' in the plans for a reason and your way of thinking is correct. Although the West Quay is EFC's up to the Mersey Wall, there will be a form of barrier to control passage across them. However, people will be able to walk over there if they so wish, even if there won't be much to see Westwards when there, due to the high Mersey Wall. They will, however, get an Eastern view back at the Stadium, which is why there will be several benches, particularly at the southern end of the West Quay. The northern end of the quay will largely be used for storage of the Pitch Light Array, in between the northern bridge and the DNOC ("Media Complex, as most like to call it).
Was that canal wall that separates the canal from the former dock already there? I don't remember that being built when the water was removed. I remember the canal was cordoned off when the water was removed and the sand and concrete blanketed the whole thing.
The water channel walls are a combination of the original dock wall and the new one they’ve put in
They piled along there at the start.
Hi nick great video as always but can you tell me what the canal is for is it to look good or another reason for it please
Just to look good
Can you please ask the project team on the build the following. On the original architect drawings you can see the Archibald Leitch latticework incorporated in the brickwork but these are clearly missing from the actual brickwork facade. Is there a reason for this? Will the latticework be visible elsewhere in the ground?
Not missing just very faint. Dan Meis ain’t happy.
Great video , I actually thought the picture quality was better this time ( may have just been better weather !) one question indirectly related to the stadium. Anybody know if progress is being made of the riverside walk . You can now walk past the Isle of Man terminal but need for bridge/s by the dockers clock .would be great to walk to the ground…perhaps nit on a January night !! Thanks
It’s part of Peel’s ‘Liverpool Waters’ masterplan but that’ll be quite a few years away.
What are those small dark squares that reside on the North stand roof?
Lee: they are the Man-Safe 'hooks/eyes' that hold the steel wires which future maintenance and roof-workers will use to hook onto. We MAY just see them being used when they come to apply the finishing touches to the North/South Stands' lips edging, IF they don't JUST use Cherry-Pickers for that.
