I guess that brit rock bands I haven't seen are black a lot, and I'm usually wrong. And the accents are suprisingly similar. At least between the UK and New Orleans. And at least for the 'lower-class' accents. There's something that brings their differentness together that I can't put my finger on.

To really appreciate this song, it HAS to be a hot day. I always try to slip this song in during a daytime DJ set because, if you're at a hot daytime event and things are fun, and maybe someone is eating roasted corn or some shit, and there's a beer or two around, and you've got nothing but more fun times ahead for the rest of the afternoon, well, goddam, this song feels like you said: it's always been here. To really appreciate this song, it HAS to be a hot day. I always try to slip this song in during a daytime DJ set because, if you're at a hot daytime event and things are fun, and maybe someone is eating roasted corn or some shit, and there's a beer or two around, and you've got nothing but more fun times ahead for the rest of the afternoon, well, goddam, this song feels like you said: it's always been here. And everything's going great, and the rest of the day's gonna be pretty durn cool. No wonder this band band performed well on a bill with Sabbath. This song basically says "you're having fun, and you just KNOW there's gonna be more fun to come." It's good on its own, but maaaaan, it really tees up the next thing that happens right after it to be even BETTER!
