Go to the Prophet Hosea in the Bible... how does his marriage with Gomer square with your assertion of "continuing in sin?" They had children together, and Gomer was unfaithful, yet Hosea through the inspiration of God remained with her. Gomer was a visible sign of Israel's adulterous/unfaithful relationship with the One True God. Particular circumstances of adultery and marriage need to be evaluated... but to say an adulterous relationship can never be mended is a bit rash and imprudent to the Word of God in it's entirety. May God consecrate us in the Truth!
