That is a great question! I will apply it later on. First I want to be sure that the spruce is completely sealed and I will not risk to invert the grains 🎻😊
It‘s so nice to see that sandpaper is used in this way. This was my instinct too, but so many opinions say that sandpaper must never be used. I will incorporate this in my next violin. Thanks Sofia!

Hi! Happy new year to you too! The arm is perpendicular to the body of the instrument and it moves to reach the lower strings 😊🎻
Do you put any varnish on the neck?
Good question! On the neck I apply only the ground preparation 😊
