I have the exact same element and plan on going a similar route as soon as I can find a new daily. Can't wait for more of this series, you're doing great.
I went to the hardware store and got a T fitting but couldn't get it to thread the block. Oil sensor threads easily into it but won't thread the block. Did you use flare fittings to thread the block?
I really couldn't tell ya, I just filled it up on to the max on the dipstick...any variance that the oil lines has is not going to move it out of that range

Appreciate the love!
I added copper washers between that fitting and turbo so I can’t overtight it which is pretty easy. Same with the water lines
Always a smart idea to not bottom out the fittings
Loving this man... need to do this soon
Its all coming together!
ok thank you.
Absolutely!

The threads to the block are 1/8" BSPT. Do not use an NPT fitting to connect the T to the block because it will cross thread.
Where did you get the T piece for the sending unit?
I got a kit off of eBay that had the AN line and some fittings.
where can one purchase that turbo kit??
It is not a kit per say. I bought everything separately on Amazon and eBay and put it all together.
What length is the oil drain line?
I custom made mine, but I would say it was around 3ft
What's the increase in oil capacity if any? Like 4.6 quarts to what?

You can't tell the difference between metal and aluminum oil pan? Use a magnet
Lol, I know that and I don't know why I said it, but what I meant is I cant tell just by looking at it.
Nice job, hope you install a better oil filter than FRAM like a WIX
Haha, yeah this is actually my buddies car, and that was one of the first things to go. I dot a nice mobil 1 filter on there now.
