    Thanks for sharing Steve's video Tom! It's incredible to see so many car and motorbike/scooter options available over in Thailand. Amazing!

    $4.20 entry? Damn man, Melbourne ($50-60ish entry) and $4.20 wouldn't even cover a coffee here.

    Got to love places like Thailand where department stores have dedicated parking floors just for the very rich and only allow supercars to park there. But wow Thailand has gone full EV in a big way in such a short time! Puts both Australia and NZ to shame as our countries have had EV a lot longer than Thailand, and yet now Thailand is far ahead in both having many EV brands but the infrastructure for EV! I first saw both the MG4 and Ora Good Cat in Bangkok well before our country ever got them!

      Well, we’re starting to see “Valet Parking” in our shopping centre car parks in Australia too … I suppose if I owned a car that expensive I’d want to keep it separate from the masses too 😝

    Kia EV5 starts at NZ$68k plus ORC only comes in 88kwh battery in our market. 141kw max charging speed and 400v GT Line AWD is not so affordable at NZ$85,450 plus ORC.

      How much is a Model Y in NZ?

    • @gregb1599
      @gregb1599 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@LudicrousFeedModel Y $65,900 plus ORC, but that one has the 57kwh battery the Model Y LR AWD is $75,900 or about the same price as the EV5 Earth 2WD the AWD Earth model is $80,450, but the Tesla LR still a smaller battery at 75kwh

      I actually have a dealer brochure. There are 4 trim models of EV5 starting with the Air then Air plus, Earth 2wd and Earth AWD and the GT Line only available in AWD. All models seem very well equipped for a Kia, like it used to be only the GT Line on Korean made Kia would get extras like 360 degree camera and auto parking, now the Air plus gets a 360 degree camera and that auto parking! While the Earth gets heated seats a heatpump electric tailgate and a few other nice things and in my opinion is the pick of the models

    Japan has been slow to adapt to new BEV electric vehicle technology.
    Motor cycles, cars, trucks, construction and agricultural equipment all need to go electric.

    800 Volt does not help with charging speed if most DC stations are 400 Volt then you end up with a worse not better charge.
    These brands need to offer dual platform charging so they get the best out of both voltage levels.

    • @LudicrousFeed
      @LudicrousFeed  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      True. But it’s incredibly quick if you are lucky enough to stop at a 800V capable DC charger

    Bicycles, ebikes, electric cargo bicycles, robo taxis and escooters are great options for last mile, short distance travel.
    Reduced transportation costs and fossil fuels free transportation.
    Cities need to do more to encourage people to ride bicycles by providing SAFE, PROTECTED BIKE LANES and trails. Every adult and child should own a bicycle and ride it regularly. Bicycles are healthy exercise and fossil fuels free transportation. Electric bicycles are bringing many older adults back to cycling. Ride to work, ride to school, ride for health or ride for fun. Children should be able to ride a bicycle to school without having to dodge cars and trucks. Separated and protected bike lanes are required. It will also make the roads safer for automobile drivers. Transportation planners and elected officials need to encourage people to walk, bike and take public transportation. Healthy exercise and fossil fuels free transportation. In the future cities will be redesigned for people not cars. Crazy big parking lots will be transformed with solar canopies generating free energy from the sun.

    Yes even I have been confused between DOLPHIN versus DOLPHIN Mini versus Seagull.
    First time seeing CD701. CD701 is very interesting but I want it with a CD player...screw streaming....if they call it a CD701 it needs to have one. That Vision One 11 concept car is MERCEDES it will never be made...if it were a Chinese brand it would be out in 18 months.

      @@LudicrousFeed That is not something to boast about. I use CDs both in a CD player but also to WAV onto my desktop. The notion that physical formats are obsolete is ridiculous. Nothing matches Bluray and UHD Bluray and you don't need a connection to view them. Plus I would not give a single cent to CIAFLIX.
