"Atelier Yumia" is a must-buy to me, simply because of this channel. At a "KOEI Tecmo" sale, I wanted to finally look into this series... but the choice is enormous, so I watched your channel up and down, each "Atelier" video multiple times, till I finally chose "Sophie 1" and the "Ryza" trilogy. I felt like a kid in a gaming store, deciding which game to pick while reading the back of the boxes over and over again. ^^ I love your enthusiasm for these games. :)
Aaah, such good choices! :)) truly a good combo; I think Sophie is a great intro to the Mysterious trilogy and slightly older Atelier and of course, Ryza is fantastic :3 hope you have so much fun and they get you even more hype for Yumia! :D
@@JRPGJungle Yeah, I chose "Sophie" because it's one game without the timelimit... and the Alchemy-part was just incredible. And then I picked "Ryza" cause I wanted to play a more modern iteration of these games, and while the crafting is more streamlined, it's just as satisfying. I simply love that these games are... basically optional, when it comes to the content. You get a goal or direction or location... but you can do so much outside of it while visiting al sorts of optional areas. And you have to, cause if you simply storm off towards your goal, you are toast, especially in higher difficulties. I'm really excited to see the next game in action, and to experience another adjusted crafting system. :)
I remember you being the main reason i found out about the Atelier series and i've been addicted to them ever since, Yumia is also one of my anticipated games this year along with Xenoblade, the other Atelier game, Yakuza and of course Trails in the Sky Remake! Looking forward to hearing your thoughts about the games you listed! :)
Such a huge year for some of my favorite series. 3 Trails games (Daybreak 2, Ys vs Sky, Sky remake), 2 Ateliers, Death end Request. The opportunity to experience classics I missed out on like Dragon Quest and Suikoden and revisit one of the games that made me a Jrpg fan in the first place Lunar! Still keeping my fingers crossed Nisa may get us Farewell O Zemuria localized by the end of the year as well. Even though we may not have the big names like Final Fantasy or Persona I feel like this is a bigger year already than 2024.
Watching now, but Atelier Yumia in the thumbnail, yayyy! I literally ordered the Special Collection Box on day one and I cannot wait!!! Also really excited for Xenoblade Chronicles X and Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, of course! The new Rune Factory also looks amazing~ And not a 2025 game, but I'm going to play Kai no Kiseki after I finish Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (at least that's the plan-) and I'm so excited. We are so spoiled for choice with JRPGs lately, it's unreal~ Thanks for your video, as always :3
I wanted Yumia badly, but after seeign the Overview trailer? I NEED it. Its everything I want from an Atelier game. Ryza's exploration mixed with the mysteries of Dusk + the versatility of Sophie? Give. Me. THAT.
Xenoblade X is a no brainer for me after losing my 35 hour save file on wii u to finally finish it, Sky Remake, Pokemon ZA and Rune Factory are very likely and Yumia im stuck on but we'll see
I'm really excited about Xenoblade X DE and Atelier Yumia (this will be my first game in the series), I've have already preordered both of them for the switch (I'll probably play X first, then Yumia) Others games I'm excited are Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter (also my first game on Trails). Rune Factory looks interesting as well, I'll probably wait for it. Dragon Quest 1 & 2 HD-2D Remake its also in my list, I still need to play 3. And for Pokémon Legends Z-A, I'm hoping the game it's well made, if the next trailer convinces me, I'll probably play it this year.
Legends Z-A is at the top of my hype list, I am a huge Pokemon fan, and I'm also really excited to see both the new Atelier games, especially since I passed on Resleriana's initial smartphone game. I actually do have a Wii U with the original Xenoblade X, but I didn't play it as much as I'd like, and I'm pretty excited for the QoL features offered by the Switch release.
im excited to play trails in the sky first chapter again but this time in 3d!. i really hope it sells well so that we get the other two games. also expedition 33 is coming out on April 24th and i cant wait!
2025 already hit hard my wallet, Freedom Wars, Ender Magnolia and Blade Chimera just in January, and was thinking about Tales of Graces F too, always like Sophie's design.
Honestly, my most anticipated JRPG of this year is whatever Atlus or Square enix announce and release for this year. So far, this year is looking a little bit dry in new big releases.
The only reason it isn’t on the list is I need to play Reverie and the first Daybreak! I’ve downloaded the battle demo, looking forward to giving it a small try for now :))
Suikoden 1 and 2 remaster are the top priority here, which is making me stressed out about finishing Methaphor first. Sui 1 and 2 were an integral part of my early teens so being able to play them without the massive pixel soup from a ps1 on a flat screen TV is a plus.
I'm a few games away from catching up with the trails series, after more than a year playing these titles, so what better reward than starting it again with the remake of trails in the sky, this is my most anticipated of the year, but What I want most is to know the next remasters of Tales of and hopefully a new title for this year.
My belove is Atelier Serie. It used to be Final Fantasy back in 1990 but not anymore. Why wait 5-10 years for 1 titles when u can get 3 titles in one year (example are Sophie,Firis,Lydie DX) So 1st for me is Yumia.
This year, if there are two games I buy they will be Monster Hunter Rise and Atelier Yumia! Of course I have my eyes on a few others like Clair Obscur and Atelier Resleriana.
I have so many games I want to play this year but I think the biggest one is Fantasy Life i. Otherwise I'll be working on my backlog from last year. I haven't even gotten into FF7 Remake or Rebirth or Metaphor along with finishing Ryza 2 and 3; Ys X; and the Xenoblade series lol
I’m based in Japan, so not that difficult here, a lot of secondhand shops have so many :3 also I guess online I could’ve if I was determined haha I was thinking about it before Tokyo Mirage Sessions made it to Switch and XCX was another reason. Basically out of reasons now haha
It sucks but I think I need to accept the Atelier franchise just isn't for me anymore. I loved the old battle system but with each game, it keeps leaning more and more into what's trendy. Going from uniquely designed characters and vibrant colors to moe girls and pastels, the alchemy being rather passive now being an indepth puzzle game, and the traditional exploration to now being Breathe of the Wild open-world exploration. Guess I'll just keep replaying Atelier Iris 3 and Mana Khemia.
wow, except yakuza, basically all of them look graphically the same: trash. it looks like they took all the og's, upscaled them and done lmao how can it be that a mobile game nowadays looks better than a lot of new pc/console games? actually sad

:’D
Good choices! I’m sure they’re all gonna be fantastic :) a good year ahead!~
excited to see xenoblade chronicles x back again
It’s so great they’re putting it on Switch! Gonna be fun :))
I'm going to be really busy in March with Xenoblade X and Atelier Yumia
Another wonderful video, @JRPGJUNGLE . Happy that you are showing these 10 games 😊

I love your content, preordered xenoblade x already, I completed it in wii u btw, but cant wait to get it for switch
Thank you! It’s gonna be so fun on switch ^__^

We really are spoiled!~ Fantastic plans, I hope to make finishing Rebirth a part of my year too haha
Enjoy everything!! ^__^

I NEED it. Its everything I want from an Atelier game. Ryza's exploration mixed with the mysteries of Dusk + the versatility of Sophie?
Give. Me. THAT.
YESS! I’m actually super glad a puzzle-y element is back, it’s all looking so good together. Soon! 😍
Xenoblade X is a no brainer for me after losing my 35 hour save file on wii u to finally finish it, Sky Remake, Pokemon ZA and Rune Factory are very likely and Yumia im stuck on but we'll see
Yes, finish it! Sorry that happened to you, but at least you’ll have a chance to finish :)
I'm really excited about Xenoblade X DE and Atelier Yumia (this will be my first game in the series), I've have already preordered both of them for the switch (I'll probably play X first, then Yumia)

Atelier Yumia looks fantastic! March is crazy this year… Suikoden remasters too!
Yes! They’re on my calendar, idk when I’ll find the time but another great remaster for this year! March is crazyyyy! Haha :)
It would have been real nice if Nintendo of America let DERQ Code Z hit the West on the switch.... That and the Neptunia Rebirth ports...
im excited to play trails in the sky first chapter again but this time in 3d!. i really hope it sells well so that we get the other two games. also expedition 33 is coming out on April 24th and i cant wait!

I do hope Square and Atlus surprise us with something cool as their lineups were crazy last year. Fingers crossed for more! :))
Personally, Xenoblade and Hundred Line are the highlights for me 🎉
I strongly recommend you Trails through Daybreak II, its demo is available for PS users, and it's fantastic!
The game's release date is 14th February!
The only reason it isn’t on the list is I need to play Reverie and the first Daybreak! I’ve downloaded the battle demo, looking forward to giving it a small try for now :))
It's not a Role-Playing Game, but I can't wait for Neptunia Riders VS Dogoos.
Suikoden 1 and 2 remaster are the top priority here, which is making me stressed out about finishing Methaphor first.
Sui 1 and 2 were an integral part of my early teens so being able to play them without the massive pixel soup from a ps1 on a flat screen TV is a plus.
What is even happening lol this is too many stuff to get through in the first half of the year!
Looking forward to the Trails remake. I played the original last year and it was very good.
Pokemon ZA and Guardian of Azuma ofc ❤
I'm a few games away from catching up with the trails series, after more than a year playing these titles, so what better reward than starting it again with the remake of trails in the sky, this is my most anticipated of the year, but What I want most is to know the next remasters of Tales of and hopefully a new title for this year.
Relatable, I started with cold steel in November then went back to start from sky. I'm up to Azure but I'm super excited to play the sky remake!
I cant wait to start Tale of Graces F
That could probably be an honourable mention :3
I know it's a longshot for a 2025 release, but definitely hoping for more information on dragon quest xii
I would also love that :))
Atelier Resleriana Atelier Yumia Dead or alive venus vacation prism ninja gaiden 4
Koei!~ haha :))
cant wait for trail. To me sky still is the best of all of them
No Clair Obscur? It's looking pretty strong so far
It’s not a JRPG
My belove is Atelier Serie. It used to be Final Fantasy back in 1990 but not anymore. Why wait 5-10 years for 1 titles when u can get 3 titles in one year (example are Sophie,Firis,Lydie DX) So 1st for me is Yumia.
You should seriously make time to go play Infinite Wealth. It was fantastic
I want to and will sometime! I don’t know when, but I loved the first Like a Dragon, so I’m sure Infinite Wealth is great too :))
This year, if there are two games I buy they will be Monster Hunter Rise and Atelier Yumia!
Of course I have my eyes on a few others like Clair Obscur and Atelier Resleriana.
I will get 2 atelier games and rune factory guardian azuma. But fredom war is already out 10 january. You should check it out
Have it on my shelf, just waiting to not be making videos (I was working on this video since before the 10th :3) will get into it ASAP!
Fantasy Life looks super cute too :)) great backlog, nothing wrong with playing those games! Enjoy :D
I'm ready to revisit Mira lol
Wait you were thinking of buying a Wii U?! How?
I’m based in Japan, so not that difficult here, a lot of secondhand shops have so many :3 also I guess online I could’ve if I was determined haha
I was thinking about it before Tokyo Mirage Sessions made it to Switch and XCX was another reason. Basically out of reasons now haha
