Very cool! Do you notice it affecting flight characteristics or efficiency? I have a GM3 on my Heewing T1 and I wonder how much it contributes to my short flight times. I want to get a dolphin but I'm kind of addicted to using the GM3 now and I was thinking I probably need a bigger plane for it to not have such a big impact on performance. I was leaning towards getting a Killer Whale to put it on.
My basic impression is that incoming air sort of just gives way to the side at this speed, but if the split air doesn't come together cleanly at the tail end it can form vortices that contribute the most to overall drag.
