The Thursday Murder Club series is actually about senior citizens solving murders at their senior citizen home. They are around 65-70. Best series ever and all 5 stars but it is not about teens or kids
I haven’t read TOG, but I never read prequels first. The reason being that when the author writes the first book of a series, it is an introduction to that world for both the reader and the author. Therefore in the prequel even though it takes place before, it doesn’t have the same qualities as an introduction to the world. Take the Narnia series for example: if you read The Magician’s Nephew (the prequel) first, it tells you who Aslan is, whereas a major plot point in the first book (The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe) is the mystery of who Aslan is and what he can do. I feel the same way with most prequels. If you read them first, it can take away from the magic of a first book in a series. Obviously you can read them in whatever order you want, but I’m just providing some insight!
No thank you! That’s actually very helpful and you make some very valid points! Is the assassins blade meant to be a prequel though? Or just novellas within the world?
i just finished the throne of glass series and i was told to read the prequel after heir of fire. i’m so glad i did because i remembered characters that were brought up through the rest of the series. it’s pretty much 4 novellas in one book
I read assassins blade after Heir of Fire and honestly wished I had read it before ToG, I didn't feel emotionally attached to a few things that happened in the first few books because I didn't read the prequel first. Once I had read the prequel I understood and wish I had gone with it first before starting ToG! I think for me I'd rather enjoy the prequel less if it means the start of the series is better. Reading assassins blade later in the series is completely fine though, it's still fantastic no matter what order you read it in :D
Girl please TRUST ME: Throne of Glass TAB 1 Crown of Midnight TAB 3 Heir of Fire TAB 4 TAB 5 Queen of Shadows TAB 2 Empire of Storms + Tower of Dawn (tandem read) Kingdom of Ash Thanks for another amazing video! 💕💕
@@HannabooASMR No worries! I think it’s the best order cause you get all the references and (like in TAB 2) you meet characters that you would otherwise get to know so many books later that you’d forget about them
For your first read of the ToG series, read it in publication order. If you reread the series later, read it in chronological order starting with the prequel :)
I love your videos 💕 there is going to be a 5th book coming out july 16th fpr all souls and the author is also going to release 2 more books in the coming years 💜
Aren’t they the best!? I honestly get a lot from Amazon or Temu recently. I used to stock up on kiss usa’s website. They’re still awesome! I also have 4 or 5 sets from Etsy that were more expensive but I’ll keep☺️the cheaper ones I throw out once I’ve worn them
So wow… this combined my favorite things: book recommendations (fantasy) and ASMR. I’m here for it. Thank you!
🥰🥰🥰thank you!! Also my favourite things hahaha

@@HannabooASMR I haven’t read it, but to my knowledge it is set before the events of the first novel, but acts to supplement the world and story
