    I've had my Braun jug blender for about 20 years without any problems. Recently I saw a recipe on Facebook involving frozen bananas which you place in the blender and that's when my coupling bits broke. So it's either, as in your case, they don't make things like they used to or the fact that you can't blend frozen items. I hope this helps ☺️

      I think even on their manual there was something about blending the ice, so that should not be the case. But yeah, for frozen veggies it has more pressure on the bits. In my case, I think I took the jug while it was spinning a little bit and that might have caused this.

    I recommend to place the gasket between the glass jar und the metal plate instead of below the metal plate. Otherwise it will be leaking.

    I had the same problem. I burnt the white piece with fire to easily replace it.
    Once I have changed and it (7€ including delivery in Spain) and seems right the blender sound motor. But the first time I used it there was sort circuir and stopped. The fuse has been broken and I do not know the reason.
    This product it is not good enough for Braun manufacturer.
    It has 2 years only.

      Prašom.
      Nors daugiau ši problema nepasikartojo. Pirmą kartą tikriausiai nuėmiau viršutinę dalį kai dar šiek tiek sukosi, tai galėjo sulaužyti jungtį.

    Did that plastic part break again ? and is that blender able to blend hard leafy greens like spinach or broccoli and make green smoothies ? Or crush ice cuz i am thinking of buying it soon

    • @myhealthylife327
      @myhealthylife327  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, it did not broke again. I think the first time I lift up the jar while it was spinning, and that was the reason it broke. So now I'm more careful :) As for the greens, yes, it can blend the quite easy: th-cam.com/video/5023OjvWW4o/w-d-xo.html

      @@myhealthylife327 i had a huge issue with finding a blender capable of blending greens without leaving small bits or chunks like a juicer other than blendtec or vitamix .... so if this is the one i will buy it thank you for your reply

    • @myhealthylife327
      @myhealthylife327  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, usually there are some small chunks. It has a hard time to blend everything to be a really smooth smoothie, as it's not powerful enough. So if you would like not have small bits, I would actually recommend you to get something else (like vitamix). Or some Chinese no name blender (from aliexpress.com), as they usually have powerful engines.

    Braun has sold out! china is using the German name that gives the impression of quality, but even the designs are garbage. My BRAUN KF600 coffee maker is a peatree dish that cant be cleaned. Styrofoam in the lid that soaked in coffee and can not be accessed? OMG this is soooo far from a German product.
