    Update: th-cam.com/video/V1-egvXiHmg/w-d-xo.html
You can also learn from mistakes, it would be untrue if I only shared successes. This is also a great opportunity to discuss how it could have been solved. In a few days, a similar video will be uploaded, in which the mistakes made are no longer there, I am currently still editing and processing the many video materials.

Hi, nice video. I have a mixer Eta for IC chips too :D I will give you some advice. If you have a fine ash powder with gold wires, is much better rinse it with water. Fine particles are removed and next work and filtration is easy. I use Erlenmayer flask, is the best. Light ash is washed out and heavy gold wires are sittink on the bottom. Throuth glass bottom you can see them. The ash will be reduced by half and you will take bigger amount of gold...

Iridium

Iridium glaube ich weniger… eher höherer Gehalt Au/Ag und zusätz Pd/Pt minimal … plus 35-40% Cu …

It may contain it, but unfortunately I do not have the possibility to extract it and sell it

Not complaining, but does the yield cover the cost of the chemicals you had to buy? Sure seem like a long process for the end results and possible money you could make. But if this is merely your way to enjoy the process, than it is what it is...

Great video, but wasn’t the gold yield pretty low for a kilo chips? I was expecting 2-3g when I started to look🤔.. But maybe it was low grade chips due to the bigger yield silver? Keep up the good work anytime 😃, I’m watching with interest from Sweden and learning😉. I’m a hobbie-refiner and it’s not so easy as many people think.

I was also expecting more, either I managed to catch a terrible aluminum wire series, or a large part of the gold is on the legs. The sifted legs weigh 310g, I still have to process them. // Thank you for checking.

I resumed my interrupted (due to the winter) similar project with IC chips again today. Beside the huge amount of ash and small amount of gold I managed to get before it got too cold, I studied what mistakes I can make. For example, I used too much Hno3 for AR and without "denoxing" the excess Hno3 in the right way with Sulfamic acid😐. I used urea for "denoxing", but urea does not remove the excess Hno3 that Sulfamic acid does (Instead, urea can go nitrated, dangerous). Therefore, most of the dissolved gold returns back to the gold chloride solution due to the (still) high content of Hno3 present. I don't know if you did "denox" before SMB precipitation, but that could be a reason for the low gold yield 🤔. Just a thought 🙂
I really love the vacuum system you build 😅👍
      Rock on 🤘

@@Dennis-hu5tp In my case, there is very little hno3 in the AR, as I mixed 100ml of it, so 25ml of hno3, which should not affect the smb much. I suspect the legs, as soon as the weather is good (it's winter here too...) I'll check the legs to see if there's still gold wire on them, if I find it, then there's a pretty good chance that the tapes attached to the legs are still there.

@@qwethengoldrecovery Hi, i did this 1kg ic chips 3 times, once like in your video, second time with legs and with water washes, and third time with all legs and ash directly in Ar, with bigger amount of AR. The best result was the last. Just 1 burn, smash all, direct AR, denox with urea always, because even 2 ml of nitric in Ar if is not denoxed will redisolve your gold. So some gold will precipitate but alot will not.Heat the solution after precipitation and if you have free nitric even precipitated gold will redisolve, so always denox nitric, ir even 1 ml of it will redizolve your gold. Best rezult was around 1g of gold.

@@qwethengoldrecovery still messing around myself but look into reverse electrolysis if you havent already for copper seperation. its fairly easy and removes the copper, reducing acid needed. I melted my pmg bearing stuff into an ingot and ran it through the cell, in theory the copper is supposed to plate out on the kathode and the good stuff just falls to the bottom. can confirm copper def plates out.
