A nice machine, nicely conceived and finished. The V65 was somehow a forgotten Guzzi. Neither big nor small. But a sweet, sweet thing to ride and swift without effort.
The term "café racer" is a tricky one. There is now a sort of meme that required all such machines to conform to the rear-set & clip-ons stereotype. I'm not sure that is fair or accurate, but it is what fashion has decided. Some will argue that this is not a true café racer. I would answer that if you say it is, it is
It is anyway a delicious-looming thing and will give many miles of enjoyable riding. In some ways, Guzzis are the Saab of the motorcycle world. They don't look or feel very fast, but whenever you arrive at your destination you have got there 20 minutes faster than with any other machine.

Give me a round head motor any day. Has hardly been a decent Guzzi built for many years. They lost their mojo when they stopped producing the round head motors & the loop frame bikes.

Nice looking bike but not a cafe racer. Handle bars are too high & footrests are too far forward. Don't call it a cafe racer as it isn't but still looks good.
