I have mentioned that you can listen using the handset while you are home and yes you can. but if you want to listen from outside home for sure you needed to be connected.

I believe I mentioned it. Call forwarding is a service from your phone service provider. You dial some code like *72 and then listen to a beep and dial the phone number you want to forward to. Check it with them
i have the vtech cordless phones and on the handset and base it says 28 missed calls, i want to delete this message on the phones and the base, can you tell me how to delete this message
You made me watch the video. I shown and demonstrated all 12 or more ring tons. Use chapters (on the timeline of TH-cam) to jump to different section of this video.
"answering machine" is separate device. you connect the main phone line coming to your home to the answering machine and the output from that machine comes to this phone. Any call comes will go through the answering machine.
If you have a problems or senior citizen do not buy this phone you can't turn up the brightness and the lettering disappears on the sides so you're not getting a full reading i am sorry I bought this phone
