Awesome hearing Al's intro beat to AFU dates so far back. I have a feeling all of this stuff is leaked from the Warner Bros Sunset Sound studio project from a few years back. Engineer Brian Kehew was interviewed at Sunset Sound a couple years ago and he worked on the project for WB and he said there was 4 or 5 cds worth of usable recordings all ready for release. WB is basically just sitting on it waiting for AVH's go ahead for release. Just incredible the amount of amazing music the original band wrote and recorded in such a short period of time.
Eddie is just like gilmour in the sense that he knows how to set the echo repeat speed and time just right to the reverb depth, and ride that wave all the way in. Thats why he sounds so thick and deep.
This is the VH gold we’ve been waiting for! Amazing - and where is it coming from? Shocking that Warner Bros isn’t packaging this, but having it available is a huge gift to all fanatics. Awesome.
Alex not doing anything proves yet another lie from his propaganda book saying the Halen Bros were only about $ . Ed was Alex's other half is best way I could describe Alex . He never could care only about $ , he just doesn't want to get ripped off anymore .

And Wolfie says there's nothing that he knows of that's worth releasing. He could make an albums worth of instrumental things like this and we'd buy it up like there's no tomorrow.
What he doesn't understand, and neither does Alex, this is exactly what fans want. It's rough and raw and it's not perfect but, (beautifully perfect in every way). Fans crave this because it's the band building songs and experimenting. Van Halen was so F'n awesome in so many ways, that we need to hear how it came together, how it worked. For the love of God I can't fathom why they don't understand this. There is everything musical about the unreleased stuff, warts and all. We all got the perfected VH with the albums, now give us the foundation of all eras of the unreleased studio demos. There is ZERO wrong with it. Wolf and Al could release 3 or 4 things a year of this type of stuff and 1. make a monetary killing from it and 2. keeping the Van Halen name relevant for newer generations to discover this incredible band. And that being said, this current generation is discovering Van Halen and they truly love what they're hearing. Edward's playing and song writing is really catching on still and these demos, studio videos etc...........is wanted, needed and has to be done, PERIOD.
