3dsMax simple chesterfield leather geometry

Hello All !
This is my first video on my channel on youtube,
I`m gonna show you today ( in a simple way ), how to create leather geometry used in furniture, something like chesterfield leather geometry .
this is a reference photo of modern chesterfield leather, looks simple.
I will make the same geometry using 3dsMAX studio 2014 , but on a plane as example.
there is many ways to do this, and every 3d modeller have his way to make this geometry.
Let`s try this simple way.

Can this work on a ChamferBox instead of a plane?? And if I ignored the backfacing would it still work? Its getting complicated for me.
