Its a convenient US narrative that when China was dissuading the use of tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine, China was speaking to Russia.
An alternative interpretation is that China was speaking to Nato. Why?
Because Russia had demonstrated decisive military capabilities in Ukraine and Western and Nato military observers were saying that Ukraine would loose to Russia. With the consequent major US and Nato embarrassment and the loss of equipment sales to third countries.
Under those circumstances Nato might supply tactical nuclear weapons to Ukraine for use by foreign "contactors" in order to turn the war into a stalemate.
Hence China was dissuading the West, not Russia.
What a load of BS and self righteousness as usual. ❤
