I got the Dovoh K4-360g based on positive reviews. It is more of a laser level than I need but that did not stop me from buying it. Lol

No such thing as too much or too many lasers. Gotta collect 'em all!
I had five at one point...

Looks like a large percent of the amazon reviews (all 24 of them) are people who received this item for free. Free items always affect the review of them, which is why companies give items away for free in the first place. The most concerning review is the review showing one of the batteries with a hole melted through it after 3 months. Getting a warranty replacement when a product burnt your home or shop down is not a good deal. You can also forget about suing a chinese company. They will just rebrand and continue selling their crap.

Yeah, you do pose some valid arguments. I hadn't seen the hole burnt in one of the batteries! That's no bueno. However, I can only speak to what I've tested with the product and that's the point of the video. I would say getting it for free does sway you a bit but I tried to be fair and didn't feel it was made like some other "Wish" cheapo junk I've seen before. I can say I've never had a Milwaukee or DeWalt battery spontaneously combust!

The real issues with these cheap chinese tools is durability. Tools made by child and/or slave labor tend to not last very long. A lot of these products just stop working after a few months and more likely than not, the chinese company had changed its name and you are out of luck with any claimed warranty. The other big problem is that these companies will sometimes make a good products, and several years later when you go to buy another the product you get will still have the exact same model number, but will be a completely different and much more poorly made product. This is why it's better to stick with the major name brands that have been around for decades.
