I’m 22 and pregnant, having hypoglycemia that my doctor wants me to monitor because I tested negative for gestational diabetes but still have symptoms. I sat here crying for 45 minutes because I couldn’t prick my finger 😂 watching other people do it like it’s nothing really helped me, so thank you ☺️

Same I couldn't figure it out till I watched this I'm 37 weeks pregnant and my baby is growing 2 weeks in advance so I have to do this for two weeks to see if that's why he is so big. My last baby was born 9 pounds 8 ounces and this baby at 37 weeks is 9 pounds 6 ounces already

What are some things people do that mess up their readings - I noticed when I use the alcohol swab on my finger before taking I reading and wipe away the first drop of blood the reading is lower . I think a video on common mistakes people make would be great, especially since the doctors and the kit does not come with those types of instructions so many people could be getting in adequate readings. They’re doing something wrong.

I got new test strips. When i insert the strip there is no reading. Nor an error msg. It just sits there with the blood clot symbol on screen. I have used 6 strips all with the same result and no reading.

Change your primary doctor, ask to be evaluated again and tested many times during the day to know your real readings, remember some doctors are not good. Get a Blood Glucose Meter and test your Glucose 15 minutes after eating.

That is not an option, there are free calculators online that you can use to convert the readings.
