Put a bigger pulley on the feed drive. Slow that auto feed down more and blade won’t wear out so fast.

I’m having slight streaks within my stint after using a brand new diamond edged saw. Is that normal and maybe just me with shaky hands or should I be concerned

What if it's a brand new blade and it's still binding up?

I had a situation where the bolts holding the arbor to saw were smaller diameter than the hole and the blade shifted just a tad and that’s what caused mine to bind.

Problem I have with a weight pulled vise in my 12” Covington slab saw binding is unknown to me. Feed tray sticking, too much weight on feed tray, dull blade, blade on angle or something else. Frustrated with it.

i just tried to get my old Loretone 10" saw working and the blade was moving, I got the rock in and moved it over to the right position, and then the rock never moved forward to start cutting. So I took out the rock and tried to move the piece holding it and everything seemed frozen. I moved the latch toward the front and nothing released. Even the wheel i that turns on the part that moves the rock holder is frozen. Do you have any idea of what is going on here? I thought it was working since the blade was moving and I put in the oil and now I'm dealing with a non working saw and have no idea of how to fix it. It weighs about 80 lbs and I can't lift it to bring it anywhere. I'm an 82 year old widow with problems that limit me to lifting no more than 25 lbs. Hope you can help. Thanks so mh for the video. ❤👍❤

Sounds like the feed tray motor is not on or is not working and that is probably why your auto feed tray is not auto feeding Forward

Make sure all set screws are tight, at every screw that secures onto a rotating shaft... also doesn't hurt to use gun solvent to clean rusty parts, especially the smooth guide rods, then oil. That's if it's been sitting oil free of oil for a while and built up oxidation.

Update? Did saw auto feed start working?

I have an LS-10. It won't auto feed, not because the gearbox-collar is loose on the threaded rod, but because of the female half-cut pieces that ride on the threaded rod, which track their way down the rod as it rotates... reason why is they lift off the threads, just slightly while the rod rotates...because the female pieces are too light weight. Trying to solve this at the moment.

I'm sure you fixed it by now but, I just fixed that problem ... put a new spring on the half- cut pieces that will pull them down on the rod with no lifting.
