This obsession with designing for mobile has the side effect of slowly but surely ruining the awesomeness of the internet. (I'm not even kidding.) Using the "new G+" on a desktop is a perfect example of what happens when a product's design ethos is centered around mobile (which is all about mitigating highly constrained resources - compute, display, and most critically, UI). The user experience is total crap compared to the the classic version. It's sad to see Google embracing this path.
Design is not a piece of cake but how it is possible to give such a long lecture on such an obvious and prosaic things?!..How can it happen that people drain away so much time on this? Better stare but not to think.
I am surprised that the video doesn't have closed captions. Besides that, great content. Thanks!
I wish you could see your slides better.
Can't see the slides when you are referring to the data in them. Could you post a link to the slides?
These data are great! Good job.
18:01 :)) Again a great presentation & job. Thank you
The Google robot filming this should have spent more time filming the actual slide presentation, than of the crowd / Luke pointing at said slides.
why they still have burger on the left then?
+1 to getting a link to the slides, if possible
I'm pro-Wroblewski
