    As always, thank you so much Daniel for such a detailed review of the modern controls. These and the upcoming controls will definitely give a lot of facelift to canvas apps.

    They are great. Now just add more properties to them so that we can change the colors, shadows etc. As we are used to on the old stuff and wow

      The new PDF feature in Power Apps is kind a cool! we did implement that and printed a form having multiple items in gallery from one to N number of pages!

    Thank you for the great video, really very helpful. Waiting for the general availability of the modern controls.
    But why the old date picker control design is overlapping??

    Hello Daniel, very nice video, thank you so much, one question can you please tell how did you build slider using classic controls...do you have any video for it?

    Nice update thanks. Question please; the fluent UI feel is great, but the major flaw based on WCAG was tab focus. Dos the new controls allow labels to tab focus on the controls? This to help with error validation improvements and field selecting improvements.

    Very nice breakdown, is there any problem using these now in our production apps? that info button is something i wanted for a long time!

    Thank you Daniel. Great Walkthrough! Do you know when this new features will be in general avilability? Some thoughts about controls: The currently available DatePicker in Power Apps is really poor, awful and completely not intuitive. MS should not even propose smth like that. The info icon - currently you can use the tooltip property to display text on hover (it does not look so nice as the one you presented but is very easy to use).

    great video! How can I use the URL to make the text editable for the user? Also, I was looking for a control for the SharePoint URL field and I thought this was going to be it. Is there an integration with SharePoint's url field soon?

    Hey Danial,
    Thanks for the great content, this looks way better. Does it work within Forms the same way, or do we need to rplace the old controls manually?

    • @DanielChristian19
      @DanielChristian19  ปีที่แล้ว

      A modern control for forms is currently not available. I agree, it looks 1000x better.

    Daniel great video as always, I was actually able to add the Modern Controls to my existing PowerApps without creating a separate environment. I do have a question though. Where can I find that Expense Report you demo, I have to build something like that and this would be a great jumping off point. Thank you so much for all you for the community!!

    • @DanielChristian19
      @DanielChristian19  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the compliment and I'm glad to see the feature was available in your existing environment.
      This is a new expense report I create just for this demo. It's a simple canvas app using the out-of-box controls.

    How you add the labels (step1:Event .....)into the progress bar ?

  • @sushichow
    @sushichow ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The modern controls looks cool, , but I'm disappointed that there aren't more design properties available to customize their appearance. Hopefully, Microsoft will add more properties once they are in general availability.

      Hi Toan,
      These features are currently in preview and are subject to change and hence I didn't deep-dive in how each of them work. Once they go GA, I will deep-dive in them.
      In this test app, I added a ClearCollect() in the Add button and I would click on it before recording :-).

      @@DanielChristian19 HI Daniel.

      I want to Know, as it a clear way.

    • @DanielChristian19

      I would recommend that you do not use these for any production apps. This is in preview and is subject to change. Hence wait till it goes GA.

    I like it, but it still doesn’t allow you to modify controls and fields based on a user’s SharePoint Group access…
