@@plushdolphin Uh…No they don’t. Some student athletes from Brown recently filed a lawsuit against the school for that very reason. It’s pretty common knowledge.

Do you think any of those guys will make NBA? It seems they are not good enough. but idk i'm not an expert. But now when I watch college vs NBA it seems there is quite a big gap.
27 years ago, Pete Carill led the Princeton University Tigers to an upset of the UCLA Bruins. Now, Mitch Henderson carried 15th seeded Princeton to a stunning 59-55 win over the 2nd ranked Wildcats of Arizona. It was Princeton's 1st tournament win since 1998.👍
I've seen all eleven 15 over 2 upsets (yes I am old), but this is the first time that the 15 seed has ever played a bad game and still won. Every other time the kids on the 15 have played the game of their lives. Not this time - Princeton didn't do anything special, Arizona was just that much worse. By far the worst performance I have ever seen by a #2 seeded team.
I know losses like this are heartbreaking to the higher seeds and their fans, but it is the games like this one that make the Tournament entertaining. And with yesterday’s win, there is now an Ivy League team in the Sweet Sixteen.
That's the upset/losing formula for any future incoming #2 seeds. On selection Sunday if your mascot is a Wildcat do whatever it takes to stay away from the 2 line🤯😉. As a Kentucky fan I witnessed it firsthand last year and it still hurts. The madness is real this time of year, heart attacks and heartbreak go hand in hand and I'm totally here for it. The most exciting time in sports, period....
As a UK fan, I can say that when these type of games get tight late game, alot of times the bigger seeded teams start feeling pressure and choke. It happened to UK last year also.
St. Peters played out of their mind the entire tourney. Princeton didn't play all that well here and still won. Which makes me think if they play good they can make more noise.
I have seen this phenomenon all my life. A good team will play up to the level of the competition. We never give 100 percent. But when we compete against a so called better team, we dig deeper into our gut. We never want to embarrass our school. A good coach understands this. The measure of the heart.
Princeton made an art form of these upsets under Pete Carrill back in the 1980s. That was especially true before the shot clock. They would sleepwalk through a half court offense, and then find the open cutter for a back door layup.
I had AZ to take it all this year. This game looked like a high school dance compared to the Charleston SDSU game. That game was physical, competitive and intense.
This shows why Jaime Jaquez is a more valuable asset than Tubelis. JJJ can bring the ball up himself and doesn't have to rely on guys getting it to him.
Exactly right. If Bona and Clark would have played against Zona in the PAC-12 Tournament championship game UCLA would have won by double digits. The Bruins loss to Az dropped them from a 1 seed in the West region to #2 but at least they’re still in the West region which is a huge benefit.
Princeton goes ROAR! The Tigers are making the #2 Wildcats meow with fear. #15 Princeton Tigers to the Round of 32. 15 > 2 Also, that guy blocking the camera lol!
Reminds me of the old Pete Carril coached teams. When selection Sunday would always come no one wanted to face Princton in the first round because they knew they were in for a tough game, and that the game was going to be slowed down immensely. just ask anyone on that Georgetown Hoya team that they upset.
As an Illinois fan having to watch them flounder. To find Princeton with the chance to win, and seal this game. The upset made me happy for March Madness.
Pete Carril is smiling down in heaven after Princeton won two games in a city where he used to be an assistant coach under Rick Adelman to advance to the Sweet 16.
Arizona played like this game was a gimme. Not much energy and played not to lose instead of playing to win. Congrats to Princeton. They wanted it more. BTW, Arizona supporter since ' 72.
One of my two most hated teams in all of college basketball with an epic choke job. I was literally standing in front of the TV yelling the final five minutes. Kentucky, don't let me down and choke against Providence today!
Zona fan here. Congrats Princeton. I knew all season this Cats team had a major flaw. They are just awful at quick crisp ball movement. Their pick n rolls are almost non existent. They got exposed. Next year should be better.
I still remember when Princeton knocked off the mighty Georgetown Hoyas and no one gave them a punchers chance. They force you to play at their pace and game, and after all these years that have passed it still works against this high scoring powerhouses. No one wants to play this team right now.
Princeton lost by one point. Georgetown would make it to the elite eight before getting bounced by Duke and this freshman kid they had named Christian Laettner, who completely dominated Mourning in the game.
Saw this coming. After seeing them play against UCLA last weekend, it’s clear lack of discipline in perimeter offense, lack of shooters, and lack of quality PG were their weakness

Arizona’s offense down the stretch was atrocious. Couldn’t feed the bigs and just hoisting up bad shots

Question, why were people boxing out at 9:50 when it's the first free throw of two? Or is there a rule I'm not aware of for this tournament?
College and earlier levels have one and one’s after 7 team fouls. You get one free throw and if you make it you shoot another
