Here is the missing end: Poirot: "Oh, I intend to take my time. After so much excitement, I need a little peace and quiet. I shall break up my journey home in Istanbul and spend a few days exploring the city. All my life, I have wanted to see the Hagia Sophia, and then I shall treat myself to a sleeping car on the Orient Express. After all, at my age, I deserve these little luxuries.""
Yes .That's true ! We read in order to escape. But , there are limits to how far we should stretch our credulity . Agatha was by no means the worst in that respect.. That title belongs to Francis Durbridge / Paul Temple !! His plots crossed the border into being just silly..! A fatal mistake... Very entertaining but a bit of an insult to the readers intelligence.!!
Don’t know who the man in the photo is but he looks more like what I think Poirot should look like. His mustache fits the description in the books perfectly!

And we all know what happened then. Poor guy just couldn't get a quiet vacation.
@@maryanneslater9675 Lucky us!
Yes , Agatha DID write some classic detective / crime mysteries but the plot
twist here is totally ridiculous. And I'm a fan of hers !!
I still enjoyed it.
Think the same about Mary Stewart stories but I read her for the wonderful atmosphere and description that transports the reader to other worlds.

My thought as well
Just another AI rendition.
This seems like it's taken straight from the television show, I'll know for sure as soon as I hear Poirot.
It’s the BBC radio play
This is my favourite Hercule Poirot novel. Love this adaptation
Thank you for listening!
I'm looking forward to listening to it
Excellent book! Don’t know how many times I read or listened! Thx!

40min or so in-it plays back 10mins
Great play, very well enjoyed
A nurse, a lady, a murder in Mesopotamia, a job for Hercule ❤
👏👏👏❤
The very end of the tale is missing.
The ending is truncated. ✂️
Bengali subtitle needed.
It's that a French or German accent😂
It is french, the character Poirot is originally from Belgium.
@@sbaudiobooks I know but the voice actor isn't doing a good job. It sounds German than french.
@@SolidBakathat’s John Moffat. He’s a well respected actor and he does a brilliant job. Stick to your 3rd rate soaps bish
German... ? ? ? ! ! ! ! ? ?
