You can build walls and fences around the scanners to protect them, though sometimes you need to not have a roof. That said, you can stand on top of the scanners or run along the wall tops. Fences will slow things so you can shoot them, and if you use spiked fortress walls, things will, aside from the porcupines, kill themselves on the spikes. So all you need is some repair hammers for most stuff.
That was a doozy of a mission. When I tried it those stone jaws absolutely wrecked me, so good on you for making it look easy lol. I'm also interested to see the future of your beekeeping hobby. I wanna see how the upgrades work out, and why it needs power. Awesome video BD, can't wait for the next one.
The developers seem to have made keeping bees and collecting honey more complex than it is in real life. All you do is put the queen in a suitable box and let the bees do their work. Collecting honey is a mere matter of crushing the honeycomb. The devs could simplify the bee-keeping experience a whole lot.
Why didn't you pick up the beacon after the mission was finished so you can use it for yourself? Or are you going back later to strip the rest of the base? Fancy floor and stairs still available. You could fix it up a bit and use it as a forward base.
I'll likely run back to get the rest of the materials from the base. Plus I wasn't sure if the beacon was required to stay there until I finished the mission
Such an old video so not sure why I bother mentioning this, but he seems to always skip showing a lot of interesting stuff, like finding and taming animals, building extensions, etc.
I still see most comments 🙂 I appreciate the feedback. I sometimes get in the mindset that since I've shown some things in past videos, then I assume everyone has seen it already - which is a bad approach from my part. I'll keep that in mind for my future videos, thank you!
You're a natural story teller. And the mining beat is a sweet touch. Good times for us survivor genre afficionados.
I know i am late to the party here but turn your shadows down to low and it will light up caves & clear alot of the mist in the swamps
Wind turbine is the electricity generation that requires least upkeep. All the others need either sun, fuel or cleaning.
Me: *watching BDG cut down the hive and pull out a spear* What are ya gonna do, stab em?
BDG: *proceeds to stab the bees*
Me: 😐 Oh.
you just have to bee-lieve in me

Agreed. But I don't mind so much because it adds to things I can craft and add to it
Also the hive should be close to farm(give growing plants a perk), & doesn't need any protection!
Wow that's some serious kung fu being able to stab bees out of the air !
They should change it so you use your torch to defend yourself.
I'm a ninja out here 🥷 Yeah the torch would definitely make more sense
Call him dusty for short 😂😂
Excellent vid sir!!
Loving it! Very cool in the armour.
