Great session and awesome to hear how close the movie was to reality.
Kudos to Melissa. She does just an excellent job of listening. That is the mark of a good moderator. She asks a brief but cogent question and then you can see her keep eye contact with the guest. She nods her head as she listens, thus encouraging the guest to continue talking. She also follows the flow of the conversation and asks follow up questions pertinent to the flow. "Then what?" "Really, why?" The best interviewers let the guests (especially these all stars) do all the talking. Melissa has become a real pro in the industry. I think she has become the best listener on CNBC. Hence the best interviewer.
This was great. My wife walked in when I was watching it on the TV, she could tell who each of the guys was from the movie. Thanks for putting it up Gents!
Second comment. The Big Short, book and then movie, have been a very significant touchstone in my life. To see these guys, all together, speaking freely, in this panel has made my day/week/etc. Thanks for posting this and best of results to all you trading out there. Cheers brothers and sisters

What I've been looking forward to all week. The CNBC Fast Money interview was just too short.
The answer to the question "When will the debt matter" is - When the US starts having trouble selling Treasuries.....aka when the US enters decline...aka when immigration flows turn negative and stay that way. Maybe even if immigration flows go neutral.
Bill Fleckenstein says "when the bond market takes away the keys."

Inflation is much higher than the Feds "preferred measure" which excludes those daily items most viewed by normal people. The fiscal situation on the Federal level is even more important than the current debt, which is 134% of GDP.
Uranium is going to be a huge play in 2024 and the next few years.
